I love my air fryer! I cook almost everything in it - chicken, asparagus, Brussel sprouts, any meat or veggie really. I have made crispy garbanzo beans in it. It is also great for reheating things. My guilty pleasure favorite is reheating garlic bread and making it really crispy.

Have you tried Siggi's Icelandic yogurt? The plain only has 6 grams carbs, while the fruit flavored has 11-13 grams. Also, 16 grams of protein.

Having worked in the healthcare field for a long time, this is correct for most people with CHF. Part of the problem is that it is not like regular "bloating" water retention because the fluid builds up in the lungs. There is also less blood going to the kidneys which makes them work harder. OP - follow your cardiologists…

Check to make sure that your shoes are in good shape and fit properly and make sure that you are stretching after your walk.

Also, is that 4.97 your daily steps total or did you go for a 5 mile walk in addition to your normal routine? That makes a HUGE difference in whether to eat the calories back  OOPS< just re-read that you did the walk in 97 minutes.

The heart rate depends on age and physical condition. Basic formula is (220-age)x60-80%. So for myself at 60, 220-60=160, this should be my maximum heart rate. 60-80% for moderate to vigorous workouts would be approx 95-130. If someone is a beginner exerciser then they should work at 50-60% of max. I am an advanced…

Most women do not breath correctly as we are "trained" from a young age to hold our stomachs in all the time. It is very hard to do abdominal breathing while holding the abs tight.

I have found that adding 1/4 cup of garbanzo beans to my morning smoothy and 1/4 cup to either lunch or dinner on my salad or soup really helps with getting enough fiber. Also raspberries have 8 grams of fiber per cup. Great to add to smoothies or as an evening snack...

I have done a lot of research on eating to relieve autoimmune pain. What works for me is having a breakfast shake (I personally like premier protein shakes) with a tsp each of cinnamon, ginger and numeric, and a TBS each of cocoa powder and blackstrap molasses plus a cup of either raspberries or blueberries. Full of…

Unfortunately, I have seen a lot of overweight women over 80. I work in an assisted living and have worked in skilled nursing for 10 years. In my opinion, one of the most common reasons women end up in assisted living situations, other than dementia, is that they have not taken care of themselves over the years. They have…
