I have a manual typewriter that I use for my art journals.🤣 There are a total of 8 groups in a competition. The goal is to lose 5% of your weight during an 8 week challenge. You earn points for your team by exercising and developing other healthy habits.

So our banner disappeared. I've uploaded something to take it's place. I don't yet know why our icon is appearing squished in the middle under the banner.

What happened to our group banner?😱 Down 0.2. I've rejoined a 5% challenge group so my behavior improved over the weekend. Hopefully it will continue. How's the kitchen coming along?

I found a sweet potato and lentil stew recipe on MFP that I absolutely love. I’ll see if I can find the link. I don’t know if you like spicy food. I love Indian foods and make Chana masala, a tasty chick pea dish, as the Christmas entree for our vegetarians and vegans. Another fav is black bean soup. I’ll check my recipes…

How exciting though…a new kitchen! I had restaurant food for both lunch and dinner yesterday, and I can see the swelling in my fingers from the salt load. I'm not stepping on the scale today.

Cat, hopefully your social life will slow down a bit!😂 I've decided that I will track on weekdays but not on weekends. That doesn't mean a license to go wild on weekends, just a break from the tracking which I loathe.

Down 0.5. Cat I did start magnesium glycinate a couple of weeks ago. It seems to be helping. The issue this past week was the sacroiliac pain which gets much worse with lying down. It's improving though, and I actually slept well last night. Yoga class this morning.😊 Have a great day!

After 3 nights of almost no sleep, I did catch some zzzs last night, so I am feeling better today. Lack of sleep interferes with my willpower, but I did stick to tracking and have been okay calorie-wise. Exercise has been kaput, but I think I can ease back into it today. We can do this, Cat!

No change from last week.🤷♀️ Michelle May says we don't want to be in control of our eating. We want to be in charge. You had a special day and you chose to eat things you probably wouldn't eat on an ordinary day. You had an amazing day with family, and you were happy. I would have done the same.

Go Cat! You deal with food much better than I do. It was a gorgeous day here as well. I was able to hike a local trail with a friend, and it felt great to be in the woods.

Another good day. Again, I'm not counting calories, but my eating did not go off the rails. I had a good walk in beautiful weather this morning then an afternoon yoga class followed by leg weights. Hope you had a great day.

Hi Cat. I'm back if you will have me. During my hiatus from MFP, I managed to put on a few more pounds. I'm really, really good at that. Fortunately, I haven't yet reached my all-time high. Hope you are doing well. Gerri logged into MFP on March 1st. Maybe she is thinking about coming back?✌️

Down 2.7. I'm back! Daughter's surgery went well, and she is now okay to be on her own. It feels so good to be back at home with hubby and kitty, but now I miss my daughter. :D My daughter had only healthy foods in her house, so even though my exercise got off track, my eating was very healthy. Now I need to keep this up…

Daughter is having surgery this week and I will be traveling tomorrow so that I can be with her. I'll try to remember to weigh in tomorrow morning, but I won't be able to weigh in again until I return home. She eats a vegan diet with little to no sugar, so I'll be exposed to healthy food at her home, and I should be able…
