I gained your half pound. :D

Covid ended up not being at all like a cold. I was improving, then got smacked down again by rebound Covid which was at least as bad as the initial round. I've now gone 2 full weeks with little cardio, yoga, or strength training. I feel stiff and weak. Over the past few days, my sense of taste and smell have completely…

After 4 years of being Covid virgins, my husband brought it home from somewhere? and gave it to me. I was weighing myself earlier this week because I was worried about fluid loss, not because I wanted to lose weight. :D The paxlovid makes everything taste awful, so there is no point in eating cookies right now. :p I may be…

That is difficult, I'm sure, physically and emotionally difficult. <3

I've gotten out of the habit of daily weighing, and I forgot to weigh in this morning. Now that I'm dressed and have eaten breakfast, there is no way that I'm stepping on the scale! I'll post tomorrow. Happy Monday!

The arm strengthening challenge has been posted. Check it out here: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10918582/arm-strengthening-challenge#latest Hubby and I hit our 40th anniversary last weekend, but with our daughter's birthday and Father's day, we have not yet had a chance to celebrate. Tomorrow we'll be…

Will do, Cat! I'll be back later today.

I'm taking it easy while this heat wave is passing through - yoga and strength training are my focus. How about you.

Up 0.5. My daughter made a delicious brunch for Father's Day and even served a homemade strawberry cheesecake for dessert, so it could have been worse. When I'm looking for a snack, I'll sometimes turn to a Kind bar, the dark chocolate sea salt is my favorite. It gives me some protein, some crunch, and, of course, some…

Yep. If it were about knowing what and how much to eat, we would all be at our goal weights. :/ That's called challenging your brain, and it is essential for long term brain health. :)

I agree Cat. There's no point in stepping on the scale when you're holding extra fluid. I shouldn't have stepped on my scale either. Up 1 pound. No big plans for the summer here. Our 40th anniversary is coming up and to celebrate, we are planning to head to the Berkshires in western Massachusetts for a few days. I went to…

@RockinMBC - Welcome, and congratulations on the weight loss!

Down 1.4. We're not gone Jan, just quiet. Personally, I am discouraged. I don't want to come here and whine, so when my mood is not upbeat, I tend to say nothing at all. I love retirement, even with having trouble keeping track of time. The Monday holiday last week really threw things off for me. Weekend was good. We went…

No change from last week. Raining here, but I have plenty of indoor projects to keep me busy. Happy Monday!
-
Quiet weekend planned here. We'll be doing some gardening, weather permitting. I don't have the energy to host a cookout right now. Happy Thursday!

Good job, Cat! I'm up 0.5. Welcome back, Jan! Congratulations on the 11 pounds! I'm thinking about tracking during the week and taking a break from it on weekends. I'll give it a try this week and see how it goes. Have a great day.

All is well. I have to have routine labs and it's time for another DEXA scan. She didn't mention my weight gain. :) You'll get plenty of exercise tomorrow, even if it is not structured! :D Enjoy the grands!

Yesterday and today have gone well. Let's hope this is the start of a trend. I have my yearly physical tomorrow morning. I know my PCP is going to give me heck. :(
-
Okay. I lost a total of 44 pounds. I have gained back 19. :'( But I am ready to tackle this again. :)

Tomorrow's weight is my starting weight. Slow loss is preferable to what I have been experiencing. Let's do this!

Enjoy your vacation!

Walking on the beach is the best! Are you on vacation? Glad the new knee is doing a good job. Doesn't make me feel any better. I'm sad that you are having trouble, too. :'(
-
Excellent, Cat! I'm still doing well with exercise....it's the eating that killing me!
-
I, too, am tired of being fat. I'm so disappointed in myself for letting this happen. I haven't given up yet.
-
Ann, I'm sorry that you are going through so much right now. Please continue to take good care of yourself, and I hope you have the support you deserve and need. Thanks so much for posting the routines. I've had to shift most of my exercise indoors because of foul weather lately, so I've appreciated using your instructions…
