Mine also just shows up in Today. Not on my newsfeed. I've searched for a solution but found none. Posts just suggest making an announcement post manually.

The Fitbit phone app will also give you an experience similar to MapMyWalk, with GPS overview map, pace, and, a final map (preserved in your walks for posterity) with a red line showing your route. I discovered this quite by accident and then uninstalled MMW. I noticed that as soon as I made this switch, my calories earned…

Oh my God, Susan. All my "poor me's" suddenly fled. You are my new hero.

I don't want false "gains" to show up, so I opted not to get one. Besides, I like entering my losses and my scale seems fairly accurate and attractive. I'm curious to know what others' experiences are with Aria, though.

I have had a clip on Fitbit, the Flex and now the Charge HR. Every time I have worn the Fitbit I walk more. My first fitbit survived the wash twice, but could not handle the third time. I went without a Fitbit for quite a while and gained weight. I loved the Flex, it's sleek looking, you can change the wristbands and even…

Six pounds in your first week is very exciting! That was not my experience at all, less than a pound a week for almost a month. Now it's picked up, I'm down 10 pounds in 51 days. Good luck to all of us. Good or bad, log it all!!

Where do I link MapMy to Fitbit? I can only link it to MFP.

I had Flex before my Charge HR. I prefer the Charge HR but did love the Flex for water sports and it's sleeker looking. Fitbit claims it will "soon" enable multiple devices for one account, so we can seamlessly switch Fitbits depending on our activities or fashion needs.

I like this group in a group if anyone is still watching! I'm in the California desert and I've been walking over 10,000 steps per day. Down 8 pounds in a little over 6 weeks so on the right track. Trying to work up the gumption to lift weights again.

My plantar fasciitis was totally cured with prescription custom made orthotics in shoes with large toe boxes. My Achilles tendinitis is current but as long as I wear the footwear mentioned above with an added heel lift, it's resolving. Also I'm a huge fan of the Graston Technique! I had some very weird knee issues that…

I need to remember that this is cumulative! I wrote what sharebear2012 references three weeks ago, and I've lost 3 more pounds. Six weeks, 6 pounds. That's enough for me to feel a difference even if it's not visible to others. Just keep turtle-ing along.

First, you certainly burn calories while sleeping. As far as your overall count, try setting your basic activity level to sedentary. If you move more than that Fitbit will adjust. That being said, I don't eat back all the calories Fitbit allows. But I make sure to eat at least 1200 per day and if I'm really hungry I let…

Has Vega changed its formula? I tried it a few years ago and it was nasty tasting for me, anyway.

I get horrific leg cramps if I don't get enough magnesium and potassium. Try Calm, it's a powder you mix with water. If I drink it while I'm cramping, it's gone in half an hour. If I have a bit every few days (or take Pure Encapsulations Muscle Cramp/Tension Formula), I don't get them at all. Beware too much magnesium, it…

I've had my Charge HR for about 10 days now. Steps counted seems accurate compared to my old Flex. It tells me that my resting heart rate is above what I can SEE on my Charge HR is my actual resting heart rate, so I'm kind of baffled about that, but overall very pleased. It syncs in perfectly with MFP so I don't enter…

I'm motivated by accountability and success; my own and others. I'm hoping to develop a group of online friends to share our struggles and accomplishments. Long gone are the days when I could crash off 10+ pounds in a couple of weeks. Now I'm totally on target but losing one pound a week. I need some contact with others to…

Please invite me as well.

I got my Charge HR yesterday. I do like the heart rate tracking and automatic sleep tracking. I had a flex before but I was so tired of the wristbands cracking. Plus I'm a gadget gal. So far, so good!

Also just for today I will get my dates right! :-)

I just joined the 50, female, fun group and will continue following this thread. Thanks!

Just for today, I will: 1. Drink 8 glasses of water 2. Log everything I eat 3. Not eat cheese 4. Pick up my Fitbit Charge HR at the Post Office.

I'm new to MFP this past week, and have been sick all week, so my exercise is limited, but just for today, I will: 1. Drink 8 glasses of water 2. Log everything I eat 3. Not eat cheese 4. Stay under my calorie goal 5. Rest

I had a right THR at 55, 18 months ago. Because I had been walking weirdly for so long my right knee went totally out of whack. I do have some arthritis there but the main problem was a combination of tight connective tissue and uneven muscle development. My generic orthopedic was no help at all for my knee. I found a…

Got the "shipped" notice last night, but it hasn't been scanned in by USPS yet. But at least it's in a shipping box somewhere.

I preordered the Charge HR today and they charged my card. The website said it ships in 1-2 weeks.
