  • Muscle milk is great stuff for hitting protein goals, eas - Myoplex has 42 grams of protein in 17 oz drink. Try to eat a lot of chicken , pork chops are good for protein, steak, junk food will catch up with you and you will have to lose the fat, which is a pain. Get plenty of protein, eat decent and gain your weight only…
  • Check out Rob Riches ab routines on you tube or wherever you can find them. Seems lower and upper crunches are the main thing. Of coarse you have to diet down to see your abs, it is a fine line if you are trying to bulk up and stay cut up. Bulking requires body fat...no way around it. If you are happy with your size, you…
  • I think you should incorporate weight training into your regimen. A toned body looks much better and muscle burns serious calories. Seems to me that most people can get thin as a stick and not look good or healthy. Take a look at women who weight train (not women body builders on steroids) and you will see they look the…
  • I only have two friends so far, I check in everyday, been working out most of my life and can give some advice if wanted , feel free to add :)
  • Lift more weight, always have to increase weight or you will lose or at least see no gains. Check diet, more calories ...protein ? It is hard to stay lean and make gains. You might have to increase calories dramatically and bulk up then diet down.
  • Muscle eats fat like nothing else, you should find a diet that is high in protein , so you don't lose muscle, and if you don't really take that many calories in now , why diet ? If you just don't do anything and have fat , the workout should fix that. I take in between 3500 and 4000 calories a day. I have a little fat…
  • Forgot to add, if you can do any body part twice in a routine, then you are not using enough weight and working it hard enough. You should do no more then 10 reps and 4 sets for anything and if enough weight is used and enough effort put into it . You should be plenty sore or maybe just healed when it rolls around again.…
  • I'm 6'1" and bulking up to 220. I am at 206 now. I was doing chest and bis- back and tris - legs and shoulders. Calves with legs and abs every two days. That kinda burnt me out. I find a five day workout is better for healing and growing, especially if you do manual labor or are older like me. The 3 day routine is for…
  • I do two muscle groups a day, chest and biceps, day one, back and triceps ,day two, legs and shoulders day three. Usually do calves with legs ,stomach any other day and shrugs with shoulders. Dead lifts I would do with back if my discs weren't trashed. It is a good workout , you hit every group twice in 7 days . Do three…
