Can you do less time but more intense? Instead of running at a steady pace, sprint between every third lamp post (or for 30secs every 2mins on the treadmill) Add some hills/incline etc Something like this http://www.popsugar.com/fitness/Fat-Blasting-Interval-Treadmill-Workout-32374646 Isn't 2000cals almost a 20mile run?!

I like mixing it up. I do an hour squash Body pump Spin Gym session Cross fit style class I think its important to do an element of cardio, you never know when you'll need to run away or chase after.

Does your gym do classes? I work a lot harder in a class than I do on my own. Circuits, body pump, spin etc. My gym has started a version of cross fit wods too. Depends on your gym, mine swings towards functional fitness and we have a lot of men who come to classes so they're not girly giggly classes.

Three?! As in 3x45mins? You weren't working hard enough in the first if you managed three! ;)

You need to log into MFP and fitbit to link them together. I had the same thing with my phone.

Change your unit of measure! Tape measure? How tight your clothes are? How much you're lifting? How fast you can run 5km? If you can squeeze through a gap in a fence?

To be honest, if its as painful as you say. Why are you at work? Surely you're not productive? Would it be better to phone in sick/explain to your boss and go to the doctor/A&E? Your work would rather you are fit and healthy and productive.

Sprains bruise and go purple But I imagine breaks do too. Go to the doctor, you don't want to be wandering around on a broken bone. I'm very glad for the NHS.

Go to a body pump class. Have a look at the regulars. They look toned and lean, they lift as much as they can manage (sensibly without loosing form). Its good motivation to have someone encouraging/shouting at you to do 'just one more rep' and to see the rest of the class doing it too. I work a lot harder in a class than…

Do you have Park Run? I'm not sure if its a UK thing? Its basically a free friendly timed 5km each week around a local park. You sign up, print out your barcode and you all start at the same time, when you complete it they scan your barcode to get your time. Its on the internet in the afternoon. Might be worth…

Have you checked it? If you flick to the heart rate the little heart beats in time to your pulse. Mine seems pretty close each time I check it.
