Not really, Lost 3st already and thats taken about 6 months but ive plateaued the last 3 weeks so will have to just keep plugging away and wait for that to end. Some point in the next few months would be nice to get the weight loss taken care of then considering switching my focus to building muscle.

I recommend the hairy bikers diet cook books. If youre in the uk theyre available easily but if not you might get them on amazon as ebooks. They have good curries etc which are basically my staples lol

When i first joined a gym about 6 years ago they did an offer were you paid for 3 personal training sessions but got a refund if you went to the gym 20 times in the first 8 weeks. It was so badly organised, you booked each session in advance but when i showed up they didnt seem to be expecting me so i got a different…

Well done on your hard work!! Im doing something similar, was 15.5stone when i started back in september, lost quickly and steadily then lost motivation around christmas and regained a lot but been back on track the last 4 weeks and currently at 13.5stone. Aiming for ideally 11.5stone but would be happy with 12.

Clean showers, plenty of paper towels and spray available to clean machines before or after use (my gym rarely has the paper towel dispenser filled and it drives my nuts) and friendly staff.

So nice to read all the positive changes people have made For me the most effective lifestyle change was tracking down delicious low cal recipes for dinners that i can batch cook and freeze in portions. Makes getting a healthy dinner so easy as i hate cooking a full on meal every night which used to result in eating…

Ive tried going to the gym every other day but usually come in at 3 times a week. Ive been taking a chocolate flavoured protein shake after workouts which feels like a treat and if im really craving something sweet ive taken a drink of coke zero.

I try to buy all my groceries in one weekly shop and avoid shops during the week so im not tempted to impulse buy unhealthy treats. I have occasionally exceeded my calorie goal but it usually evens out within a day or two so i try not to worry about it too much if it happens. I did have a plunge in motivation 2 weeks ago…

I've made up a weekly schedule that I'm going to follow starting tomorrow. I get bored with exercise very easily so trying to do a different type of exercise each day. So one day I will go walking, the next a dumbbell workout, the next day swimming, yoga the next and a home workout of burpees, Mountainclimber etc the next.…
