31 and working toward losing the weight I gained when I moved back home to the Midwest 7 years ago, plus another 20ish lbs to get into a healthy weight range. I'm looking to make a permanent lifestyle change and get to a weight I haven't been since high school. I have about 40 lbs to goal and I'm hoping to be 175 by the…

I had a lot of success online--45 lbs over 8 months. And I loved doing it. I also had more fun losing the weight and achieving little badges and milestones. Checking in was more fun on WW. However, like most, I got sick of paying for it. And then I gained over half of that weight back. I like MFP so far, but it's oddly…

I'm going through the same thing right now and I'm just going to skip the high impact elements of my workout. I'm doing Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 and I think it's a couple cardio moves in particular that are giving me problems. Hopefully losing more weight and letting the knee rest up will allow me to come back to…

1.145 2. It's near the top of a healthy BMI range and it seems like a healthy, attainable, but slim place for me to be. 3. Kind of. My goal for end of year is 175. 177 will be the lightest I've been in 7 years and a big deal for me. 4. 200 again. I was just there 2 weeks ago. NEVER again. 5. I've never thought of that…

I lost 45 lbs over 8 months with WW online and I loved it. I got sick of paying for it, though, and I wanted to have more of an understanding of the nutrition and actual calories of what I was eating. It was mostly about the money, though, if I'm being honest. It's just calorie counting simplified. Learning how to track…

Ha, upping to just 3. :p I was in absolutely no semblance of "shape" when I started. Went from literally doing nothing, to this. 2lbs became too easy pretty quickly. Did 3 today and it went well! Could probably stand something heavier for the bicep curls, though.

Excited to hear how it goes for you! I was super proud of myself today. Changed a flat tire on my car this morning, didn't have my normal pre-workout snack and still pushed through it after a 2 day break this weekend. It was tough, but not too bad. Upping my weights tomorrow and hoping my stamina has substantially improved…

Oh wow, didn't even notice this thread and I'm on w1d4 of Ri30, too! Really loving it. I'm a newbie, though, so I'm going to be on Level 1 for more than a week. Planning on doing it until I can make it through without stopping. I keep improving, but it's probably gonna take about 3 weeks. I'm doing it 5 days/wk. Happy to…

Personally, if I worked out after waking up and not eating for 8+ hours, I'd feel horrible and have a bad workout. I eat a banana with a 1/2 T of peanut butter about an hour before my workout and it's perfect. Just enough energy without filling my stomach or being too heavy. Easy to put into a baggie for on the go, too. Or…

I went through this. We tried to get pregnant for 18 months before we were successful. I have PCOS and was put on Metformin - I hated it. Made me feel horrible (bad diarrhea and nausea) and didn't make my cycles any more regular. I felt ok once they lowered the dose, but I honestly feel like it did nothing. I lost a little…

Hello! Molly, 31, Michigan. Looking to lose 45 lbs. Lost 45 last year, gained 12 of it back. Just got back on the wagon a few days ago! Excited and ready to start losing again.

This is completely true for me, too. I am also just recently back on the weight loss wagon after losing 45 lbs last year. I've gained 12 of it back and I'm now committing myself to losing that plus 30ish more. Anyway, for me the first week is by far the hardest. But seeing that scale go down, feeling my clothes get looser,…
