Intermittent fasting really helped me due to the fact that small meals left me hungry all day. With intermittent fasting I can eat 2 large meals (lunch & dinner) and not feel hungry. You can do your workout whenever it works for you, I have tried fasted training and fed training and I have had the same results either way. Give both a try and see what works for you.
