Do you have a lot of weight to lose or 10 pounds or so? That will make a difference. What works for me is no drinking any alcohol , eat 4 to 6oz protein and green vegees all you want for a couple of days. The Third or fourth day eat high carb like rice only. Drink grapefruit juice 3 times day. I walk 5 to 8 miles daily.…

So I lost 13 pounds in January. I started slow and really worked hard but today I just vegged, ate wrong and was lazy. I am learning if I do this once in a while (just a day) I am ready to go hard for another week! Looking forward to taking off another 13 pounds in the month of February!

So I wasn't able to workout yesterday. I try and give myself a break once a week because my body just needs a day of rest. I didn't eat all the protein I should have and actually ate some carbs in the form of rice. I did not over eat but I sure felt guilty. I got on the scales this morning expecting a weight gain. Sorry I spelled your name wrong. Yes I am talking about your eating habits. I try and stick to protein Nd vegees with a fruit here and there but I find I still get cravings for crackers and heavy carbs. Maybe I will try a protein bar.

I am in the 3rd week starting today. P90x is a great program. I have done about 3 times. First time lost 35 pounds. I also have P90x 3. I started it but found it was too fast for this old body (54). Thank you for the advice. I am do p 90x and that has weight resistance. This is an intense program but I am able to stay with it. I also am walking 12000 steps a day which is 5 miles. I am so motivated. I will go it. Thank you for the advice.

Hi 55 and up. Thank you for the inspiration! Even though I didn't lose as much as I wanted 10 instead of 7 in two weeks I am feeling good and determined to get thin again. Goal to lose another 7 in two weeks (15 for the month). How do you all stay motivated when weight comes off slowwwwww. ?
