Today I will: 1. Not eat a homemade lemon cupcake with lemon cream cheese frosting! I will give it away! 2. Log my eating. 3. Spend 60 minutes exercising. 4. Have a kale salad for lunch... 5. Enjoy those around me and life, in general!

And get trigger foods out of the house completely! If I know one of my trigger foods is around somewhere, I obsess over it until I finally eat it!

Find a friend who will walk through this with you! Knowing you are meeting a friend to exercise or allowing your friend to see your food diary helps to hold you accountable! And...set small feasible goals...something you can reach in 1 or 2 weeks. When you meet your goal, set a new one.

Mandahon...I get this completely. During the week, my life is pretty regimented, but on the weekends, I try to make a clean break from work when I can. I keep my exercise up, but I drink less water, sleep less, and always seem to have a special treat to eat. It probably slows my weight loss down, but it makes this marathon…

My jeans are baggy! I need a belt to keep them up--I am due for a shopping trip!

You two are just what I need! Thank you for your candor!

My clothes fit so much better! I feel so much better! It is all worth it!

You are absolutely right! I weigh when I first awaken...sometimes just for the fun of it, I will weigh 10 minutes later and weigh 2 pounds more!
-
Thanks! Will do! I think I began to expect too much when I lost so much so quickly!

I am 5'1" and weigh 123 lb. My goal weight is 118 lb. I totally agree about the last 5! I am making good choices, but the weight loss seems to have slowed down!

Thanks for asking! It has only been one week. I continue to make healthy choices and I am not discouraged...yet! I cannot imagine 4 weeks without any progress! Thanks so much!

In 2 weeks, I could tell a difference. In 4 weeks, my family and close friends noticed. In 8 weeks, people who don't know me well noticed a difference.

Not drinking enough water on the weekends...eating, eating, and eating more on the weekends...but please don't take away my weekends!

Perfect place for those of us who are short! I am 5'1" and currently weigh 124. I carry my extra weight in the worst place--my stomach! Keeping track of my food, exercise, water, and sleep is helping to hold me accountable. My best weight is between 115 and 120.

It takes time. After 2 weeks, I could notice a difference, albeit small. In 4 weeks, my closest friends could tell that I was losing. In 8 weeks, it was apparent to others. Keep it up--the results will be noticeable soon!

I am grateful that my boss put our department on fitness teams! I discovered that I am more externally motivated than internally. I am becoming fit while earning points for my team. I just wonder what will happen when the contest is over!
