This! It kills me every time. I have a lot of sleep issues that I am on medication for but I still lack good sleep quite often. Those days I feel like eating the world. :#
-
I'll echo what everyone else has said- watch what you eat and it won't be a problem. I'm on lamotrigine currently and haven't noticed an increase in appetite. I have also been on abilify, geodon, topamax (briefly) and a flurry of anti depressants and sleep aids. To be honest, I don't recall feeling any hungrier than usual…

Here's a screenshot of a day a little more than a year ago when all I did was walk (no exercise). Even at less than 9,000 steps, I had a decent adjustment when I was set to sedentary. There's definitely some kind of bug or something! ***Don't judge my wine consumption! Lol
-
I agree... that's definitely not sedentary! Did you try contacting MFP or was that answer from a forum somewhere? In the interim, if I were you I would manually add those steps into MFP. Hopefully someone else can chime in!
-
Hmm, that's strange. I don't have an Apple Watch anymore but I used to about a year ago. I went back to check and it gave a good adjustment for me with ~13,000 steps. I wonder if there's a bug somewhere for this. Could it be in the access that you give for MFP? If I remember correctly, all of the health app ticks have to…

I really like my champion leggings that I got from target. I can't remember what exactly their called but it's part of champions target line. They go just past the knee and are high rise. They definitely don't ride down at all. AND they have a key pocket! My favorite!

First of all- congrats on your weight loss! That's an amazing accomplishment! Second, I agree with what jemhh said. Keep up the great work!

That would make sense for the Charge 2. I would definitely rather it undercount than overcount! With the exception of when I'm soooo close to my step goal!
-
Interesting! I've noticed the same thing with my charge 2. There was one night that I was within about 400 steps to my goal so I was walking around my apartment to get those steps and was getting frustrated when it wouldn't pick up the steps. Another time, I was sorting through paperwork for a little bit and noticed that…

Oh I completely understand! I find it weird not to have a goal number. I totally get it. I think your right. Try to shoot for 140 and evaluate from there! I actually enjoy seeing how I compare to others my height. I think it's pretty interesting to see the variations! Feel free to add me!

Exactly this!

I'm 5'4.5. I don't have a particularly large bust and don't have much for hips. Kind of built like a ruler. However, I've weighed down to 125 and I found myself a bit too thin for my liking. I'm pretty happy at 135ish. Currently, I'm more around 143 and trying to cut down. My profile picture is at 140. I know you can't see…

Do you have metal fillings in your teeth? Is it possible that your not consuming enough water to stay hydrated enough? I know this sounds weird, but I have a few fillings in my molars that I swear I can taste the metal sometimes when I don't drink enough water. Otherwise, I'd try to talk to a dentist and eliminate the…

I'm just going to point at that in the DSM 5, they do not have a diagnosis of alcoholism. They do have diagnostic criteria for alcohol use disorder. Furthermore, there are 11 criteria for alcohol use disorder. It can be classified from mild to severe (depending on how many criteria match). There is not a set amount of…

Congrats on getting in shape! It's a great feeling. As for makeup, I never wear it at the gym. I get acne very easily, so that would be very bad for my skin.

I second tapering down! Or maybe try some sparkling water with lemon or something. However, that does not have caffeine. Maybe there is some caffeine infused version of it? I don't know but some years back I was obsessed with diet Mountain Dew. When I tried giving it up cold turkey, I had the worst caffeine withdrawals! I…

You can add me! I lost about 70 lb a few years back. I've had a few backslides but now I'm just trying to get back to where I'm comfortable. Maybe about 15-20 lb. We'll see! You've made fantastic progress and look great!

Dude. There are so many celebrity look alikes in my gym! There is one guy who looks like Aaron Rodgers. Being a packers fan, I imagine it really being Aaron Rodgers and then we can talk Packers. One of the trainers looks like Charlie Day. Another trainer looks like one of the guys from 98 degrees. There's also another guy…

I'll be moving to Texas this summer! Until then- Chicago.

Hahaha! I agree with the lower calorie requirements. It's saddening. A few years back, I went out to eat with my dad. He said, "good thing you work out! You REALLY like to eat!" He didn't say it in a malicious way but I still will never drop it whenever I see him. Your post just reminded me of the I like to eat comment!…

Spoke too soon! It just synced now!
-
Me too
-
Ugh. No. I wish it were doing something! Mines still not doing much. it actually put in a negative calorie adjustment (just as if I had stayed in bed all day).
-
Yup. It started happening to me last night as well. I can't get it to sync regardless of what I do.
-
It's happening to me also! Hopefully MFP and fitbit get over their lovers quarrel and start syncing again.
-
Oh yeah! It'll be a big change. But a welcome one!
-
I'm in Chicago! But I'll be moving to El Paso this summer!
-
I agree with this as well. I'm diagnosed bipolar and I definitely understand the laziness from meds. Just gotta force yourself to move! It's all about calorie deficit in the end but I do think that activity can not only help improve your mood but also help with that calorie deficit!
-
Agreed with this!

I've heard strange things about soy for both men and women. I have no idea though. However, please please please say you've seen the TV show the League! For anyone who has, I immediately thought of when Andre kept eating soy, grew boobs and began going through menopause.
