I have done it, and I lost weight. And I gained it back. Note that in his books he does state that he lost muscle, too, and he gained back a decent chunk of the weight that he lost. To echo sarraheclark's question - how long did it take you from 182 to where you are now? I find being patient with myself is my biggest challenge!!!
