I'm Back! Now that I can do 50 sec. planks, I think I can reach last month's goal of 45 minutes if I do them twice a day. Of course, I only did 1 today. But maybe I will progress to 1 minute. Additionally, my husband says he'll do the planks with me which gives me more inspiration. I never thought that would happen! Let…

I'm in again. Unfortunately, I caught a cold and a cough this last week. But I am feeling better now. So, after reading all the inspiring goals I will still try to keep to a conservative goal of 30 minutes per day with an occasional impetus to do more. (Golf days!) 10/3 30 minutes

Goal: 15 Hours I like AnnofB's goal: 30 minutes of some activity 5 days a week. Maybe that is a more realistic goal for me, especially since I seem to have off days...like today. The "summer" weather pattern here in SF is usually fog, wind and overall grayness. It really gets me tired and lazy. I talked myself out of going…

Thank you, Spliner. As a beginner I do need to aim for consistency. Since I can do 45 seconds pretty well right now, I will aim for 45 minutes for the month of September. This means doing planks consistently twice a day. I'm ready to build up my stamina and instill this routine into my day. (Putting a Big Note on my…

Hi, I would like to join the September Walk Challenge. I am not always motivated to go for a walk or even watch an exercise video. So, I am hoping this month will be different. My goal is to walk at least 1/2 hour every day. So that would mean 15 hours in the month. Here goes!

I have to start somewhere. So, planks seem doable and I should be able to find a minute or two in my lazy day. My goal for August will be 30 minutes since it's almost mid-August. Just did my first one! : 8/12: 43 seconds

Checking in for the week: Jan 2: 1min (forearm and knees) Jan 3: 1 min " Jan 5: 2 min (2x1) Jan 8: 2 min (2x1) (leaning plank with arms on edge of bed) Total/Goal: 6/50 Excuses: I empathize with Spliner. I, too, have been sick with a cold and cough. Rest is a good thing. Hopefully, I'll be back on track this week.

OK. Confession time!! I thought I could easily spend 2 minutes per day doing a modified plank (for seniors). BUT, excuses, excuses: Very busy with holiday tasks and forgetful and lazy in the evening. So far: Dec. 14 1 min. Dec. 16 1 min. Dec. 19 2 min Goal: 36 minutes Yikes! 32 minutes and 12 days left. I think a big note…
