Why is MFP saying I did 12,000 steps and fit app says I'm 6,000 steps this is the first time this happened . What do I need to do to get them back in sync?

Hi Ashley I'm beginning my journey as well, once again. The last 2 years have been tough . I`ve gain about 50 lbs. I had a very physical job but my husband and i both lost our jobs due to a bankruptcy in the steel industry.
