I love pasta, but almost never eat it now... because 75g is so little... (before counting I was easily eating 3 or 4 times that). And I also used to measure cereal with a cup, I was eating double what I thought I was eating! At least weighing food teaches us portion control.

I gain fat in my face really easily... but when I lose weight, people notice right away because it comes off my face first. So if you lose weight, you will lose face fat.

I think it is totally doable. I am trying to lose 22 pounds in the next 5 months. I am already at a healthy weight so I am aiming for a loss of 1 pound a week. Its not because its your last pounds that it will take you forever to lose them!

I am not a very imaginative cook and I am a picky eater. I usually use salad as a side to a main dish. I just put some salad + tomatoes + cucumber on a small plate and that's it. Well I tried losing weight by counting calories and balancing my macros. I made a conscious effort to eat more fats and protein, even though I love carbs. I ate 4 eggs a week and cheese and meat... I had nausea when I went from a high carb diet (my regular diet) to an overly high protein low carb diet. It turns out I need my bread/rice/pasta fix. It doesn't seem to me like you are eating a lot of protein though.
