Frozen grapes are fantastic. I work with kindergarteners teaching healthy eating. Several have never tried a fresh fruit or veggie. I start them out on frozen grapes! They love them. Tastes like grape popsivles!

Don't be afraid to use olive oil. Your body requires a certain amount of fat to properly function. I use olive oil and red wine vinegar and I add fresh lemon juice. What ever fresh herbs you would like.

I routinely eat under 1200 calories a day and I complete my diary. I get the message I am not eating enough but it posts. Also I am losing weight at a really good pace. No glitch that I have noticed.

Cook over low heat about 30 minutes until all water is absorbed. Keep a lid on the pot and never stir it until the cooking process is complete.

The rule of thumb is double the water to the rice. When cooking brown rice give it a good rinsing before hand. Brown rice has all the nutrients that white rice is stripped of. Today I am cohosting a babyshower for my daughter in law. I cooked marinara from scratch, fresh ingredience. Organic cheeses, whole grain pasta to make heaping pans of baked ziti. Salad and crusty whole grain rolls. Everyone at this party will be eating clean.

Potlucks are hard because you cannot know the calories unless you've seen what goes in. If I have to go I'd bring my own healthy potluck to eat and share. Definitely log every bit of food you consume.
