I just wanted to state that I was on the pill from age 15-29 and never gained a single pound from it. Managed to maintain my weight of 115 (5' 4") until I got pregnant. After that it was all a struggle!!

It doesn't matter at all. I do intermittent fasting and save all my calories for dinner. By eating only 1 meal a day I've managed to lose 10 pounds in 2 months.

You do realize you have to eat an additional 3500 over your TDEE to gain a pound? Her TDEE could be say, 1800, so therefore she only ate 3960 calories over her weekly TDEE. I've been doing IF for about 2 months now and have lost 10 lbs. I do either 4:3 or 5:2 depending on how I feel. It was hard at first but second nature now. Very happy with it and I know it is something I can maintain for life.

I do IF. So if I want something high calorie, I save it for my up day. Down days 500 calls 3x a week and up days of 2k. I always make sure I eat within my calorie allotment, so sometimes my up day will only consist of 1 big meal!

I practice 4:3. Eat at 1500-2000 cals 4 days a week, and at 500 or less 3 days a week. I don't limit myself to certain times of the day to eat, but I usually stop on an up day at 7pm and can go to 6pm on a down day with no issues. I'm also 5'4 and 43 years old. I started out at 150 and have lost 6 pounds since Aug 1. However, my lowest intake is 1400 calories. On the days I work out (usually 4-5 days) I eat back all my exercise calories and have still managed to lose. Have you lost any weight with eating so little?
