If I exercise when is feel like it I probably wouldn't work out. I have to motivate myself by making commitments to meet friends.

I found I had to go to a low-carb eating plan to lose. I did it for 2 weeks, then added more carbs but kept calories in range. Maybe you are carb sensitive.

I'm doing Atkins induction for 2 weeks and Fitness Pal is helpful, even though it's primarily focused on calories. I just check carbs in Nutrition stats.
