Clean eating & lifting heavy seems to work every time. Sounds like your on the right track

Bulgarian Split squats, deadlifts, glute raises. Split squats are best in my opinion. Hope this helps

Both is good .. However I believe heavy strength training & diet works best for me. Little no cardio is needed if eating right
