Agreed with above. I just got married and my body was faaar from how I wanted it, but it was still a wonderful day. You really do not want to be trying it on the day before and it won't do up.

I can only echo what other people have said. Have a look at your macros and aim to hit them so you're getting a good mix of carbs/protein/fat and make sure you're at a calorie deficit. I guess it's personal preference, but I tend to lift first. I like to make sure I'm not tired so I can focus on correct form, and remaining in control of the weights.
