Thanks for the reply. I'm set at 1lb per week and am pretty much okay with that. But not today! I could eat the entire contents of the fridge. It's not helping that I've not been able to go running (knee injury) and feel pretty blah

I eat what I want. I've tried before watching macros but for me I find it too stressful. I do have a heathy home cooked fresh meal every evening and usually a healthy breakfast )porridge) but other than that I don't worry. Losing weight is hard enough. And I have to lose it in a way that i Can maintain for ever, for the…

Realizing i was existing and not living! We booked a family holiday and i was so worried and upset at the thought of flying (seatbelt not fitting) I thought "this is ridiculous" So i started the watch my calories the very next day. I managed to lose 2 stone before the holiday. Ive now been cc for 12 month on 12th june and…

Im the same, every evening after all my jobs are finished i sit down with a cup of tea, and always save cals for something, this could be a kitkat (107) a curly wurly (118) or sometimes upto (200) calories if my day has worked like that. I tried not doing this but wouldgo a few days then binge, i love chocolate so allow…

Sounds complicated! Just eat what you want, when you want, stop when you run out of calories?
-
Thanks for all the replies. It's all so blumin confusing! I may just go back to mfp eat what it tells me and just track my runs and eat half of those! It's worked all this time for me. If I happen to have a super busy day and do 16000 steps I'll just class it as a plus for that week and it will make up for when I'm less…

Thank You all for your replies. I guess I will just see how it goes! tbh on non run days I am okay at 1450kcal, but on run days I could really do with eating more than the 150kcal extra i have been allowing myself. I suppose i really need to get used to tracking and eating exercise cals ready for maintenance, I don't want…

I know, but I don't always hit steps that high (desk job) so I don't want to change from sedentary. Is it okay to eat Fitbit adjustments?

When I cried because my husband booked an holiday abroad, not tears of happiness tears of fear - fear the plane seatbelt wouldn't fit!!!

I've just gone through a period of scales not moving. Was really hard for 5 weeks but I carried on and reasoned with myself that I it would come off because I'd stuck to my cals. Got on this week and lost 6.5lb! Hang in there

I used to get this all the time, really really bad. I resolved it by washing my belly button really well wth warm water, then when I get out of shower/bath I dry it with hair dryer, like open my belly button up with my fingers and make sure it's really dry before dressing - problem sorted! I don't get it as much now I've…

I have never run until a few weeks ago. The group i joined had already started the program, so i started on WK4 and im finding it okay.

Mfp has given me the higher cals at 1540 tdee is saying 1470? Would have thought the tdee would be the highest?
-
Wow more replies! Thank you such helpful positive replies x Still sticking with the higher cal of 1540 did a long walk today tracked with map my walk and it says I earned 600cals, I take this with a pinch of salt I think they give you way too high cal burn, but I may use 100 of those tonight for a bit of ice cream I've…

I am set to sedentry, i said that the walks i do are just for fresh air, and i dont count them.

Thank you all for your replies. Like I said I will give it a few weeks and see how it goes. It just seems such a huge jump, think I got used to feeling hungry most of the time! Now I feel stuffed

Hi Thanks for reply. I weigh everything liquids and all! I will give it a few weeks out ln 1540 and see how i go. Just seems loads from what i did have! Nice though :) So if i work out my tdee do i eat at that to lose or less than tdee?

Hi I walk 2 miles all at once on a evening when I get home. I don't use the calories earned here, because to be honest i do not move all day, so I class the walk as just getting some fresh air! On a weekend sometimes we will walk 6 mile and then i do eat back half of these

Hi Ive lost 4st 5lb with mfp and just started walking. I found weighing everything is key and such an eye opener! I always eat my cals and 50%mof any exercise calories. If i have a bad day i draw a line under it and carry on eating healthy next day, dont. Dont Let a bad day turn into a a bad week. Roasted veg is my bulk…

Thank you for taking the time to reply. My current loss rate is 1.5lb per week. Im 5ft 9inch female. Current weight is 201lb and goal is 154lb Im worried that the sudden increase of 200kcal a day will gain me weight?

Sorry typed for ages .. all the text disappeared! Basically Ive lost 66lb still have 47lb to go, if i decrease my weight loss rate to 1lb a week is this too slow for how much i still have to lose? Struggling at current cal level , been okay since july 16 (start date) but now just don't feel full or sustained on that cal…
