The best advice I have gotten EVER is to "add the good foods in and crowd the bad out" don't go cold turkey and feel like a failure if you eat something bad. Add in the good and keep adding. Then you don't fail. Try adding lettuce, spinach to every meal. I made chili the other day and instead of eating it in a bowl - I…

I just want to make a note for anyone who added me - pay no attention to my awful diary today. I ran out of healthy food in my house. End of month. My awesome mom and dad brought me some fruit for tomorrow and I got some veggies. I am super proud that all month I had fresh produce in my house. This is a first in all my…

If you use Pinterest - I found all the info I needed on there and more. It has totally changed my diet. Just lost 10 pounds since Christmas all by what I learned with the 21 day fix methods. So much info out there. I just use my own measuring cups. Print off some charts and go!

When you follow someone you can go to their page and click the little diary icon - or you can see on your newsfeed when they complete it for the day and click it and look. Clean eating - for me it is buying less premade food - pretend food made in labs! And sticking to real ingredients. Fruits, nuts, meats and grains but…

The only way I can figure out how to do it - is to copy the username. Then go to the More (...) Tab at the bottom of your ap. Down to friends. Click the + and where it says add by email ... It gives you the option to add the username also. Then send the request. - Hope that helps.

I add cinnamon sticks to my water. It helps curb my sweet needs. But snacking isn't bad if you choose the right snacks. Snacking can be good for you. If you are a snacker - don't completely loose that. Use it. - I saw a documentary on Netflix that had the BEST advice. It said - do not deprive yourself all at once and go…

My fitness pal is where I track my calories - and Two Grand is where I am loving accountability! It's daily snapshots of your food and challenges. Keeps you wanting to present a healthy day! Very motivational. - I can't live without both of these aps. If anyone is there and wants to follow me I have the same screen name.…

Thought of another free fun one - another of my local state parks/educational places has free snowshoeing. I bet a walk with those would be a fun different work out for sure!

Also - start making exercise worthy changes. Little steps. Don't grab the closest parking space. Makes your mind in the healthy zone. I am a huge fan of Leslie Sansones walking at home programs. When I was walking the rails to trails outside I would remember moves she showed me and added those when no one was around. :-) I…

I think you need to go to the add friends part. Where it gives you the option of email - that is where you add username. Just copy and paste the username. You are correct - it doesn't go to people's pages if you aren't already friends.

We do blind taste tests here all the time. One was with ketchup. We love Heinz ketchup. I don't eat anything I use it on anymore but the kids still do. I switched the kids to organic. And also tried the simply Heinz. Verse the one with HFCs. We were amazed at the difference.

I love food!! So baby steps to clean eating is how I have started. I needed snacks. I found a raw nut mix at target that is not salted. Took me a while to realize - hey - I actually like the taste of the food and not the salt. - I like cooked broccoli. But my before meal had loads of butter and parm cheese etc. So now I…

I am baby stepping into eating clean. $ Is my biggest obstacle. One change at a time. I am a single mom to three kids and also trying to help teach them to be healthy. Being raised in the age of convinence and microwave - I watched cancer, diabetes, high cholesterol skyrocket,.. Hmmmm - One has to wonder how we are slowly…

I add a cinnamon stick to all my bottles of water. That helps me a lot.
