Thank you btw OP. You've just reminded me that I needed to book another donation session. Roll on August.

That sucks. I donated bone marrow to an American two years ago. They sure weren't worried about me having mad cows disease! LOL
-
I always have rice pudding when I'm sick. It's bland, boring and does the trick. LOL

Every two months? Crikey in the UK we can only give blood three times a year as it really takes it out of you. Really surprised you can do it so frequently and not suffer any effects from it. I give blood and usually feel a little tired for a day or so but never notice a massive calorific deficit from it.

That's a rather high weight loss per week ratio when you are already fairly slim. You should be aiming for 0.5lb a week. Although if you are gaining weight and it's not water fluctuations etc... you are eating more than you think. Some great advice above!

You're a Dirty Gerty you are @rabbitjb

I want a thigh gap for one reason... So I can easily put my toilet roll down the loo when I'm finished. If I had a thigh gap I wouldn't need to open my legs any more! YAY!

I'd like to nominate the nomination for the nominating of the nomination thread. I need to lie down in a dark room.

I have thighs. That's good enough for me lol

I've lost 31lb since January. I have PCOS. It is not impossible to lose weight if you eat at a deficit. Use a scale, weigh your foods and eat less than you burn. :)

Proteins and fats. They will help satiate you when you feel hungry. Or aim for 1lb a week loss instead and up your calories so you don't feel like eating your leg all the time. :)

Actually dying right now

Caterpillar's have calories. So I always make sure I rinse my lettuce through before I eat it! LOL
-
I ate cheesecake today. I feel great. LOL!!

PCOS isn't the end of the world. I'm surviving quite easily with it ;) I had an internal scan of my ovaries and blood tests done to "diagnose" my condition. I also have pretty much all the symptoms which is awesome... not. OP... Please do not panic. PCOS isn't that bad in the grand scheme of things. If you can get your…

But then you lose extra weight because you get the poops!!!!

Only if you get every last smear off!

I love it dirty Anna... You already know that ;)

When I saw the title I thought it was a new Wayne's World diet doing the rounds. Hahahahaha!

I'm a rebel. I always forget to wash my fruit. So no clean eating for me :open_mouth:

I was diagnosed with PCOS at 19. I had been having symptoms from as early as 13 but wasn't until I was a late teenager that they did scans and blood tests. I have never been medicated for it. For me keeping my weight as low as possible helps with the worst of the symptoms. I do not take any BC as that made everything 200…

From me... You rock. He's the loser here not you. BIG hugs and you can and will get through this. "This too shall pass" x

Staci honey... You have ONE motivation right now if nothing else to eat well and look after yourself. Your daughter. She needs her mum to be healthy and happy. Heartbreak is awful but she is your world and that is something to remember. If you have hardly any appetite, try eating more calorie dense foods for now until you…

Let's hope so. OP... I know it blows having to calorie count when you are desperate to lose a large amount of weight but trust me, in the long run... it is SO much better doing it the right way. I've worn the T Shirt with fad diets far too many times and I am so pleased I finally woke up and realised it's a marathon not a…

Threads like this usually get rough because the premise of fad diets is not a welcome addition here lol
-
Less fat in your diet can bung you up. lol

Oh B + J. Those two men will ruin me ;)

I don't like rambling on. And I must admit it made me cringe a bit but I've been a newb and thought I knew it all. When in effect, being here has been an education. It makes me cringe when I think of all the quick fixes I've tried.

If you are walking 20,000 steps in a normal day you are at least active. I am set at lightly active and I average 10 - 12k steps a day.

I had an initial goal of 35lb in January when I started. I am now 31lb down and have extended my goal another 5lb. I'm hoping to be 40lb lighter by the end of the year in total. It's not that long in the grand scheme of things. You can do this!
