Unlikely to be muscle. You don't gain muscle in a deficit. :)

Are they biotics that have forgotten to take their meds? Tee hee hee

I started in January on 1580 calories. Eventually reduced them to 1500 and now I'm back on 1580 to lose 0.5lb a week as I'm really close to goal. I eat all the things I love but in moderation and weighed. A food scale is your best friend. No need to do low carb and I walk. Boy do I walk some miles. :)

She's doing it wrong. During TOM I wouldn't share my treats with ANYONE. Tell her this. She should be eating them all to herself. [Edited by MFP Staff]

I have PCOS. I've lost 3st5lbs just by cutting calories. If you aren't insulin resistant, you don't need to mess around doing low carb. It just means we need to eat a little less than your average Joe. :)

Can see a difference in your face. The stomach one is taken at completely different sides/angles so can't actually comment on it. Keep up the good work.

I have PCOS. I have PCOS. I have PCOS. The biggest excuse I've ever used.

You won't like me when I'm HANGRY! I'm like Incredible Bulk. :D

I thought this was a witch diet? So reminds me of Charmed. I wouldn't be able to stick to such a restrictive diet. I like being able to eat what I want by weighing and logging it. But hey... That's just my own opinion. :)

Cor blimey aren't you bored living on that? Blended broccoli? That's pretty grim for a grown adult. :(
-
I prefer to eat my food. But each to their own. :)

I love to run to angry music. It really keeps my pace. Or Bruno Mars. But then I try to sing along and kill myself instead as I can't breathe properly and run at the same time. I'm useless.

My Cheerios say "30g portion" 1 cup could have plenty more than a portion in. The Op is eating far more than she thinks she is. Use a scale and weigh everything. You will be surprised ;)

I've got a Fitbit Surge. When I ran it alongside my polar HRM it was only a small amount of difference on a run. So I just use my Surge now.

I'd marry him JUST for that sandwich!

1. Jelly (Jello) 2. Jelly (Jello) 3. Jelly (Jello) 4. Jelly (Jello) 5. Jelly (Jello) Jelly is gross. Don't eat it ever. Everything else in moderation. Other than Bacon. Eat that stuff like it's going out of fashion ;)

I eat what my body tells me it needs when I'm ill. My main concern is to get myself well. So eat what you feel you need. I always crave rice pudding and yogurt when I'm ill which is bizarre as dairy produce is usually the worst thing to eat when poorly lol

Nothing wrong with ice cream. Eat it.

I'm 10 months in. Still feeling really strong. I've had 4 or 5 major wobbles but you know what, I logged them. Looked at them and realised I'm human and we make mistakes. It's so easy to over indulge but this time I think I've grasped the concept. In the past I've always told myself I'm on a "diet". Now I don't. Now I'm…

Please listen to what people Are telling you! You don't need to avoid fat. Fat doesn't make you fat. Eating too much does. You are not using the MFP tool to its full potential. 1200 calories is not adequate fuel for a guy your age and size. The goal here is to eat as much as you can whilst still losing weight. It's not a…

I lost 46lbs in 9 months. Totally doable. Good luck!

Yep +1000

It is actually helpful. It stops people giving you advice that may hinder your past issues with food. I really do worry about you being on here when you have such a disfunctional relationship with food. :(

Just to give you a rough idea. With my Fitbit. On my laziest hardly move days my TDEE is around 1800. On my normal days I fluctuate between 2000 - 2300 on a busy day. But it's usually an average of 2100. So over time you see a pattern developing. WEAR IT ALL THE TIME. It's worth it I promise. :)
-
I'm set to lightly active. I've had a lazier day than normal due to my son being ill. I've done 5000 steps and currently -28 calories down on the negative adjustment. So yep. I need to do a few more steps yet lol
-
Ash... If you have a seriously lazy day, it does detract calories from you. It's not a bad thing. Saves you eating more than you should be for that day.

I have PCOS. Have lost 46lbs since January and now working at maintenance. I no longer allow myself to use my condition as a reason for being overweight. I've worked hard and started running to allow myself extra calories. Good luck. You've got this.
-
I ignore my Fitbit app with regards what calories I've eaten. I concentrate on MFP. Fitbit itself doesn't take into account earning extra calories like MFP does so it often tells me I'm over my calorie goal even though I'm not. :)

I'm 3 and a bit months post breakup and still have off days. Be kind to yourself. Eat whatever your body tells you it needs. It's not the end of the world for now. You are grieving. Understandably so for the end of a long relationship. Big hugs and don't be so hard on yourself. It does start to get easier I promise x

I wouldn't eat digestives for breakfast though. Belvita are breakfast biscuits. Lol
