UGHHHH THIS DRIVES ME CRAZY!!! This happens to me all the time. I do circuit training so I'm busting out my reps and then on to the next one. People waste so much time just sitting on a machine. One guy was on one machine for a good 10 minutes "resting" while I did other stuff. I finally went up and said "Can I hop on…

Thank you everyone for all your kind words! I am continuously amazed at all the fantastic support from our stellar community here! I feel so honored to have inspired some of you and I believe in all of you!!! <3

Thank you! Nothing fancy, primarily cardio... Elipitical and walking mostly! Just started doing circuit training 2x week with weight machines too.

Thank you! I have been trying to lose weight for a long time but it wasn't until this last January when I started using MFP and learning about nutrition that it actually started coming off and staying off! The before pic was from about a year and a half ago.

Yes!!! There is always hope! Moving more has been primarily cardio... Elliptical and speed walking mostly. I started doing circuit training with weight machines 2x a week recently too. Nothing fancy!

Thank you so much guys!!! I went from a size 16 to a size 8 and have about 10 lbs more to lose to get to my goal!
-
Thanks ladies!! No secret here, just eating less and moving more! MFP has really helped me stay on track ☺️

I also have a desk job and I make a couple choices in my day that increase my activity. 1) I'll park on the top level farthest away and always take the stairs 2) I try to drink a lot of water (which makes me go to the bathroom prob every hour or two) and every time I go the bathroom, I do 10 squats. These can add up…

Yes! I am one who can easily get overwhelmed by the amount of time it takes to accomplish a goal. But I read something the other day that said "Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway.” This resonated with me so much!!! One day at a time is all it takes!

Wow, it's amazing to see the fluctuations on here! I'm 5'7 1/2 and my CW is 155 and my GW is 140-145. I have never weighed in the 140's and want to give it a shot! Plus it's smack in the middle of my healthy BMI. =)

Which grocery aisle do you find these in? I've been wanting to try but not sure where to look!

Lately I stick with one thing for lunch and repeat throughout the week. I either do: 2 oz smoked salmon half avocado apple low fat string cheese baby carrots hard boiled egg OR 1 can tuna non fat cottage cheese raw spinach with cherry tomatoes and red onion lemon juice/salt/pepper hard boiled egg apple =)

Thanks guys I appreciate the medical background effort but no. I'm not convinced they are lipomas. More like cellulite type fat tissue, which would also explain why it's in all of my tissue. The whooshy fat article was the closest explanation I got.

Ohhhh GAWD this drives me NUTS!!! My dad is like this. I was so proud and excited when I dropped to the 150's and called him and his only response was "Noooo, don't lose anymore weight, you're doing too much." It sucks because you want to share your achievements with people you love but for some reason change is hard for…

WOAH!! YES!! THAT'S EXACTLY HOW I IMAGINE THEM AND WHAT THEY FEEL LIKE!!!!

Hahahaha I can only hope I'll start a new species!

A colleague of mine swears by activated charcoal. She takes a couple capsules when she is eating "gassy foods" and it solves her bloating issues.

Anything is "OK" when you are trying to lose weight as long as you are eating at a deficit.

Yes, I'm sure, my skin is normal. It legit feels like little peas/marbles in my fatty tissue.

I'm thinking the same thing. I'm often massaging my muscle/fat tissue to see if anything has changed, and nope. They are there. Everywhere. They are more noticeable in my arm tissue now...I wonder if it's because I've started incorporating weights... Either way, I think I'm stuck with my little alien sacks! (soooo…

I am also pear shaped, and when I had measurements similar to yours I too had good luck at LOFT. Also, choosing fabric that had a stretch seemed to fit better than others. Old navy has a curvy fit too that was decent. I also found good jeans at ROSS like the other gal mentioned. It is hit or miss there tho. I like the high…

Hmmmm yeah I do fasting blood work every year and nothing has ever been abnormal. Triglycerides were on the low range last time. I do notice I drop weight faster if I cut out carbs, but I always assumed it was an initial water weight drop. Interesting theory to consider. How does one become insulin resistant? Can this…

Is this a particular blood test that is separate from normal annual labs that I need to request? Everything came back normal last year when I did my standard annual blood test.
-
Oh man! It's always the carbs (my favorite) that seem to be the culprit! LOL =)

Yes, I've noticed a weird aftertaste with some whey proteins that leave my tummy feeling funny. I switched to a plant based protein powder and don't notice any digestive issues.

That's a great guess and makes sense! Thanks for sharing!

HAHAHAHA!!! your quote and the ridiculous size of that cookie actually made me laugh out loud. Thanks for that! =P I know the guilt of beating myself up when I am "in the zone" and then I indulge. Thanks for putting this into perspective!

For those suggesting to eat more calories, the thing is, I'm not going to bed hungry at all. I'm satisfied from dinner by the time I hop into bed. The nights I wake up in extreme hunger are nights when I'm disturbed by outside sources, not naturally waking up on my own. It doesn't happen too often, but happened last night…
