Why are you making snap judgements about her?!?!

Congrats!! That's the best feeling ever!!! I totally understand and still do this...I navigate towards the Large sizes of everything...and then I try it on and realize I need to buy smaller sizes. I'll repeatedly check size charts because my brain is just not catching up to my body!!

Congratulations!! You look great! Keep up the good work, lady!!!

I was recently approached to share my story, so if you'd like to read what I did, you can read here: realbodiesrealresults.com/blog/nora-determination-helped-her-kick-her-food-addiction-and-lose-55-pounds Feel free to PM me with any questions. You can do this!!

Haha! Yes! So true. Love it!!

I stopped and started many times....the first 20 lbs took about 6 months before I really knew what I was doing. The last 30 have come off since January with MFP and tracking calories and excerice. Thanks all!!!

Haha! Isn't it you who says "Lift Heavy!"??? I've been doing primary cardio and circuit training, but I think I'm ready to take it to the next level! It certainly is fun to see gains! =)

Yes ladies!!! Get it!!!! Thank you for your kind words and all your support! I know it's so cliche to say "if I can do it you can do it" but in all seriousness, I'm the most impatient, hard headed, emotional food issue eater out there and I've come a long way. The struggle is real and some days are easier than others. It's…

I kind of stumbled into doing 16:8 unintentionally... mainly because I really like to eat and look forward to good dinners! I have never been a big breakfast person and do just fine with coffee in the morning. I find that I like to save most of my calories for dinner so I'll eat a light lunch and then have close to 1200 to…

I have similar stats as you and started at at about 196. I am now 152. The first 20lbs came off just through diet improvement. The rest came off with MFP and tracking calories and exercise. Once I started using the app, I was losing on average 2lbs a week. I never realized how simple it is. Eat LESS and move MORE. People…

Aww thanks for your kind words! I'm about 5'7"-5'8" and the before pic was when I was a little under 200. I'm now 152 and have been refocused on weightloss since January. I wish I had a clearer sense of how much time it took but I dropped to about 176 last year and it wasn't until I joined MFP in Jan that I started to get…

I have achieved my results primarily through elliptical. Keep at it and you will lose!!

Nice work everyone!!! This is about a year apart for me.

Congrats! You look beautiful!

Yes! Health benefits are truly amazing. And the new wardrobe is definitely a plus!

My biggest improvement has been my mood. I used to feel depressed, sad, unmotivated, ashamed, guilty, apathetic, lonely, lost, unsure, shy and stubborn. After dropping weight and establishing a fitness and nutrition regimen, I'm still stubborn (HA!) but I feel confident, happy, motivated, strong, encouraged, proud,…

My weight can fluctuate up to 8 lbs around this time. Avoid the scale and keep doing what you are doing! When it doubt, do the math. I would have had to consume an extra 28,000 calories (on top of my 1800 daily maintenance) to actually gain those 8 lbs...so clearly it's not a real gain and don't stress over it!

Thanks for your kind words! I wish I had a secret to offer you, but no secret here. Just moving more and eating less. I have been doing about 50-65 minutes of cardio 5-6 days a week and eating about 1200-1300 net calories (more like 1600-1700 with working out). I started doing circuit training 2x week but only for about 15…

I'm headed to NOLA too in a few days! And my plan is to get into a maintenance mode frame of mind. I want to enjoy all that deliciousness and indulge in the local flavors! Then back on track for loss after I'm back. Enjoy yourself guilt free!

I'm 5'7"-5'8"....before pic was about 196 lbs, current pic is about 153 lbs =)
