Week 25 and I've fallen behind! Messed about for weeks and now the same weight I was in March - 205Lb. That's 24 Lb lost since January but really must get my head back in the game.

Does my first post qualify as a snafu?
-
Oops, missed out 'all'
-
The word snafu is made from the first letters in the phrase 'situation normal, f****d up'.

I've just seen the post about 21st June being halfway - that's a big encouragement to keep on with the dieting. Not giving up is the main thing.

Weight at start of January - 229lbs Weight now - 205lbs Total lost in 52/52 challenge - 24lbs hooray! Week 14 - a dodgy time - motivation starting to sag - keep focused on the positives. Determined to keep on track for an average 1lb a week. Easter celebrations loom - oh oh!

internet problems and lots happening at home - stopped counting calories. Still on track for 52lb in 52weeks though. Laptop going in for repair but will try to keep recording on my tablet - it can be a bit tricky though. The main thing is to stay focused on long-term and steady weight loss, no matter what else is happening…

Congrats on your success so far. Try to keep in mind the good feeling you have when you waken in the morning and remember that you stayed within your calorie goal the previous day.

Because of my yo-yo dieting, I keep forgetting what my starting weight was - Looking back at my Fitbit record I see it was 229lb at the beginning of January. Today I am 215lb, so still on track for 52lb in 52 weeks. Thanks to everyone for posting, it's an encouragement to keep going, and to focus on the long-term instead…

Sorry folks, letting the side down with a 4lb gain. My slimming class leader asked what had gone wrong and I said that we had had a family meal. She asked me if I had been eating children! Yes, it's hard to understand someone who is trying to lose weight actually putting on 4lb in a week. Back to work though and will start…

You can read 7 pages of useless facts before you realise you are wasting time again.

Oh Dear, despite a week of good dieting, I stayed the same 219lbs! I had a calorie deficit of 6,089 so I thought I might have lost 1-1half pounds in the week since the last weigh-in. This week's challenge will be to keep plugging away and hope it's just a blip. I've been scrupulous about recording in the myfitnesspal…

Don't go hungry, but try to eat healthy foods that you prepare yourself. Don't beat yourself up if you have a slip, just carry on the next day. Slow and steady gets there eventually - I've done it several times only to stupidly put it all again, and more! That's another story though. Good luck and take all the help and…

Can I confess before I've done it? My kids are coming over with afternoon tea later for Mothers Day.

Got my ChargeHR yesterday. So many false starts trying to lose weight - now at an age where calorie counting alone doesn't work so need motivation to exercise.
