I became OBSESSED over the number on the scale rather than my clothes being loose. Therefore, I now only weigh myself twice a month so that I won't go crazy when the number on the scale is the same. I weigh myself on the first and then the fifteenth of the month.

I may do this too! I used to weigh every week, but I've become so obsessed with weighing. It's crazy! I love your idea of only weighing twice in the month.

Gosh I hope I can be y'alls size one day. I am 5'6 and currently weigh 169. I have big hips and come from a big boned family, so my metabolism is awful. My current goal is 150. My ultimate goal is to be 135-140 though.

Glad I'm not the only one that feels this way too. I get so frustrated when I don't see results, BUT like everyone else has said-we don't need to emphasize so much on the number the scale shows. I try to weigh only once every 2 weeks now, so that I won't obsess over the silly number on the scale.

Hey Shaylee! My name is Ellie, I started using MFP last January and LOVE it! I still have a ways to go but I know I can do it. I started out at 217 and had a goal of getting to 175. I have achieved that goal. I weigh 169 today. My goal now is 150....my ultimate goal maybe 140, not sure yet...I just want to be healthy and…
