We had a work event on Wednesday night where I couldn’t count. I’m sure I was over my calories, but I did what I could.…

I hope none of the kids run out of stamina early.

Accountable-ish anyway. I did my strength training today but my husband took the fam out…
  • 5’4” 47 y/o 8/03: 142.0 8/04: 141.6 8/05: 140.6 8/07: 140.4 I got my run in this morning. I went to a bbq for a friend yesterday, so I have no idea my calories for that, but I’m going to track today.
  • 5’4” 47 y/o 8/03: 142.0 8/04: 141.6 8/05: 140.6 We’ve been traveling so much this summer and I know this is just the bloating coming down. But I’m 5lbs heavier than May 😕 One step forward, two steps back? I’m still making progress on running, but it has been so sporadic. I started my strength training back yesterday. Which…
  • 5’4” 47 y/o 5/05: 135.2 I’m struggling to stay consistent. Last week ended a bit off the rails. And then my husband took me for a weekend getaway for my birthday and I didn’t count anything for a few days. I have not done strength training at all this week, but did finish my 5K running program on Monday and started 10K…
  • 45y 5’4” 3/31: 136.2 4/07: 135.8 4/21: 135.2 I’m not going as fast as I had hoped, but I am still moving forward. ~ I ate over my calories a few days last week. Only one day this week. ~I had a few drinks. Only one day that reminded me why I should mostly be AF though. ~I didn’t do strength training last week at all, but I…
  • @SherryRueter I started using my husband’s Power90 videos in 2006. I went all the way through the program and loved the results. I didn’t ever try the nutrition part though. Back then I just counted calories. He upgraded to P90X a few years ago and liked it, but I haven’t tried it. I was going to the gym and doing circuit…
  • Welcome @brittawyatt ! You can post daily or weekly, or however often helps you be successful. I’ve used this group a few times over the last 5 years and always find it so helpful and supportive.
  • 45y 5’4” 3/31: 136.2 4/07: 135.8 I am motivated by the progress I am seeing. I could absolutely see a difference in my stomach in the mirror this morning. It’s been a good week, but not perfect. I was AF, ate within my calories, but missed strength training on Monday and running yesterday. One of my excuses is that the gym…
  • 3/27: 137 3/31: 136.2 My whoosh bounced back, which I kind of expected, but still less than the day before. I finished the week off strong. Stayed AF, met all my exercise goals, and came in under my calories. Looking forward to April!
  • My exercise felt like I was dying today and I’ve been having headaches. I’ve looked back through my food diary and wonder if this is due to lower carbs. I’m not counting carbs at all, I just end up eating lower carbs in my quest to get enough protein and iron within my calorie count. I picked up a cereal (that I don’t…
  • Hi, Ladies. I’m late to the March game but did not want to wait just so I could start on a 1st of a month. Warning: way too long… This has been a difficult several months for me. We moved this summer, but we were supposed to move to one state and it got changed to a different state at the 11th hour. Super stressful trying…
  • 5’4” 44y/o 3/01: 132.2 I’m flirting with the idea of doing a dry March with no sweets. Sweets are not usually something I struggle with, but have been lately. I have been working hard on strength training and it’s going well. I need to buckle down on cardio though, because it really helps me.
  • @HoneyBadger302 would you mind sharing the name of the podcast?
  • 5’4” 44 02/19: 130.6 I haven’t been feeling well the last couple of weeks so I haven’t been exercising and I’ve been eating a lot. I’m starting to feel better now and got to the gym yesterday and today. After such a big break, I’m super sore. I have a ball coming up in April (as well as my 45th birthday) I’d like to feel…
  • 5’4” 44y 01/01: 130.2 01/03: 129.8 01/07: 129.0 01/22: 127.8 I have been 100% on dry January, hit and miss on diet, mostly hit on the strength training, mostly miss on cardio. I really want to be more dedicated, but I am tired and like chocolate. :)
  • Hi @stacyrey12 It’s completely up to you! You can post as often or as little as you like. Some people post at regular intervals, like a certain day of the week. Some people post every day. Others, like me, are a bit more random and post whenever they have a moment. Whatever works for you to keep you motivated.
  • 5’4” 44y 01/01: 130.2 01/03: 129.8 01/07: 129.0 I haven’t been perfect with diet or exercise. We had a snow storm that knocked out our power for 24hrs and that threw me off a little, but I am moving in the right direction.
  • 5’4” 44y 01/01: 130.2 01/03: 129.8 So far so good. My stomach feels SO much better when I wake up in the morning when I have been eating right! It’s one of the things I like most about tracking. I always stock up on berries when the store has a sale. Helped yesterday when I felt myself batting a craving for sweet. I don’t…
  • 5’4” 44 8/09: 128.4 8/13: 129.8 The nice thing about tracking is knowing I didn’t actually gain a pound and a half since last week :) Tracking is going well, though I ate dessert over my calories at dinner last night. May have wiped out the deficit of last week, but it was a night out at a fancy restaurant with my husband,…
  • 5’4” 44 8/09: 128.4 Last month was hard to keep track or be consistent due to some family emergencies. But school is back in session and the routine really works for me. I’m dragging my teens to the gym with me 5 days a week and have started back to tracking. My plan for Sept is lose 2lbs. I know that seems aggressive, but…
  • 5’4” 44 7/24: 126.8 7/25: 126.0 I had a mocha and some sort of chocolate shake my kids made me instead of real food for dinner last night so obviously I’m still on vacation 🙄
  • 5’4” 44 7/24: 126.8 Back from our 3 week, cross country driving trip. Not sure how much of this is water retention from traveling. My clothes still fit fine, but my stomach is more jiggly and bloated which I do NOT like the feeling of. I NEED to get back to my exercise. Sadly, I’m tired and lack the energy/motivation so…
  • 5’4” 44 I don’t know my weight since we’ve been traveling for a couple weeks now. I have only managed to get exercise in a few times and have eaten more than I would have at home, but my clothes still fit so hopefully I won’t be too far behind when we get home next week.
  • 5’4” 44 6/01: 126.8 6/09: 125.6 6/13: 124.4 6/17: 124.0 6/28: 123.8 I haven’t been perfect but I have been moving forward. Massive lunchtime salads are my friends. It also makes me happy that if I make them, my boys almost always want some too. I haven’t been to the gym very often because we’ve had a lot going on, but I…
  • 5’4” 44 6/01: 126.8 6/09: 125.6 6/13: 124.4 6/17: 124.0 My exercise hasn’t gotten back on track yet, but my diet is good! We taking a trip to see family in July. I want to stay on track so I can look good in photos. Also to not feel like I’m being judged by my in-laws.
  • 5’4” 44 6/01: 126.8 6/09: 125.6 6/13: 124.4 Flooding in our basement and a few other obstacles have kept me from getting my exercise in, but I’ve been on track with diet.
  • 5’4” 44 6/01: 126.8 6/09: 125.6 I haven’t been perfect, but I’m in the right direction and getting better. I’ll join the photo train. Here’s my proud moment from this month!
  • 5’4” 44 6/01: 126.8 A couple of my posts in last months thread disappeared. And one from the previous month. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Here goes again. My goal for June is to get back to 125. I plan to alternate running and weight training 6 days a week. I plan to focus on macros and log everything.
