I’m loving this fall weather but my Fitbit doesn’t think working in the garden counts as very much exercise 😏 It…

He actually does count his calories too, we just spend them quite differently. I always eat breakfast and rarely eat dessert. He rarely eats breakfast and often eats dessert. He also works a lot harder at the gym than I do and ends up with extra calories to eat. It’s really annoying, but not enough to work as hard as he…

If it helps, I over ate by a lot yesterday too. We went to a new restaurant where the food was amazing and I cleaned my plate. I also had a cocktail. I was at peace with my choices and still under budget, but then my husband insisted we stop by Cheesecake Factory to get dessert to go. The choice to eat it yesterday rather…

5’4” 43 9/03: 130.0 9/04: 129.6 9/09: 129.4 I did really well on our getaway to the beach. Stayed under calorie budget and got lots of steps in. I’m disappointed not to see a very big difference on the scale yet, but I can definitely feel the difference!

5’4” 43 9/03: 130.0 9/04: 129.6 I was under budget again yesterday. I’m feeling anxious to get back to a scale because I’m convinced it will show progress. When I put on my jeans this morning, it made me so happy that they just felt comfortable again instead of slightly tight like they had been for a while. Keeping that in…

@weatherking2019 how is the schooling at home going? We start on Tuesday. Last year I homeschooled two of my three. This year I will only be homeschooling one of them, but the other two will be schooling at home. My oldest is a senior and I’m so disappointed that his last year is stuck at home.

5’4” 43 9/03: 130.0 9/04: 129.6 I came in well under budget yesterday, even with a glass of wine. I was happy this morning when I put on a swimsuit that I was sure would be too tight and it wasn’t! I haven’t worn this one for a couple of years and was pleasantly surprised that it looked good (enough. It definitely looks…

5’4” 9/03: 130.0 9/04: 129.6 I’ve only been back on track with calories since Tuesday. We are leaving this morning for a 4 day trip to the beach. I’m a bit nervous that my self control is not developed enough for the trip. I hope being in a swimsuit every day will help me focus :) Good news is that my husband just got back…

5’4” 43yo 6/19: 129.8 I couldn’t find my last post but I was too tired to search for it. The gym is finally open and we went back for the first time this morning. It felt SO good to be back. Instantly lifted my mood and energy. My boys have still been running with me which is good and bad. They make the progress slower,…

@guitargirl55 You can do it! And it’s inspiring. Great job!

Looks great @SummerSkier ! I got my lashes dyed and curled before a vacation once, after a friend recommended someone. I LOVED it! We moved after that vacation and I got them done in our new city and the girl burned my eyelids. They hurt so bad and had scabs for a week. She also curled one weird and it looked so bad that I…

5’4” 43 5/01: 130.0 5/08: 128.6 5/15: 129.4 5/22: 130.0 My step count doubled this week. My runs are better and I’m feeling better. I still haven’t managed to start strength training again. The kids’ school is winding down though, so I’m also feeling like I’ll have more time and energy for it. Have a great week everyone!

@weatherking2019 I’m sure you’ll succeed! When I was younger, any excess weight was evenly distributed. Even after babies. Once I hit 40, any extra pound goes straight to my middle. I hate it! Before the lockdown I was doing 100 sit-ups at a time. Even though that is absolutely something you don’t need a gym for, I quit as…
