  • 5’4” 43 5/01: 130.0 5/08: 128.6 5/15: 129.4 I didn’t count calories on Mother’s Day or our anniversary, but I don’t think it was that bad. I’ve kept up running with my boys, but I have not been able to get myself going on strength training. I’m determined to get it going this week so I’ll be checking in more often to help…
  • And thank you guys for being supportive. Even though we don’t know each other, it means a lot during a time like this.

  • I’m feeling a little better. We decided to order from the restaurant where we had our first date. (It was in another state, but from the same chain). The kids swore they are going to behave at dinner (we’ll see :) and I found a trinket that I know he will love. We still have a few things to work out, but I know they will…

  • Thank you @weatherking2019 ! It feels surreal to be at 25. We talked about having a nice dinner at home with the family, and even dressing up, but it feels like such a chore to set up and clean up a dinner that I know I’m going to spend trying to get the kids to behave at. They are really great kids. But they are loud,…

  • 5’4” 43 5/01: 130.0 5/08: 128.6 I REALLY miss the gym. I did not get any strength training done this week. I did stay on track with my running program and calorie budget though. The scale stayed above 130 all week until this morning. I was so relieved! The challenge for next week is Mother’s Day on Sunday. I know they got…
  • My 25th anniversary is in a couple days. I always imagined it being a grand occasion. We had planned a big trip to New York. Now we are still on stay at home orders so we can’t even do a nearby restaurant or hotel. My husband is really wanting us to make the day memorable, but I just can’t think of how. We don’t even have…

  • Hi! Welcome! We mostly use the monthly accountability thread and the chitchat thread. You can chime in at any time. You can join the monthly accountability any time as well! You don’t have to wait for a new month :) It’s just a place to state your goals and check in as often as you need to help keep yourself on track. Some…

  • Hi, girls! Welcome! You can join the monthly accountability any time! You don’t have to wait for a new month :) Some people track daily, some weekly, but it’s just a place to state your goals and check in as often as you need to help keep yourself on track.
  • 5’4” 43 5/01: 130.0 It’s too complicated to explain my absence from this group on this thread. Maybe on chitchat. I’ve been following along to keep up with you guys though. It’s good see everyone working hard! I’ve got my boys doing a running program with me. We just finished week 3. My goal for next week is to stay on…
  • Sorry guys, but trying to find another way to say “I’m ogling the women at yoga” doesn’t make it any less disrespectful. Going to yoga class doesn’t mean I have put myself on a menu to be ordered, sampled, or ogled. I’m there to work on being healthy, and now I’m focused on trying to make sure I’m not in anyone’s line of…
  • Or if you’d rather not go out, you can plan to do your nails, or a puzzle, or try to complete a lesson on Duolingo etc. Something that engages both your mind and fingers.
  • I wanted to add a practical suggestion. If you struggle right after he picks her up, then maybe you can plan something next time. Plan to leave to go to the bookstore, or go get coffee or some other thing that gets you out of the house and the habit and routine of being at home and wanting to eat the food that’s there.…
  • I agree with not phrasing it in terms of losing weight, but instead phrasing it in terms of wanting to get healthier and more fit. Which is what you’ve said you are really after anyway. I think most people can get behind a desire to feel healthier even if they think you don’t need to lose weight. Good luck!
  • 5’4” 43 2/07: 126 Congratulations @Antiopelle !! Also, what is Tour Mineral? This past week, my husband was home with pneumonia and my daughter was home with the flu. I didn’t get to the gym at all. It’s the first week that I haven’t exercised at all in a very long time. I’ve had a little too much alcohol and a lot of…
  • I’ve been keeping up with you guys every day, just not posting. January has had me all over the place. Not completely out of control, but not on track either. I could have used that too much alcohol entry a lot! I’ve still been strength training on the regular, but pretty much on my butt other than that. I’m disappointed…
  • Height: 5’4” Goal: 120 Dec 01: 127.0 Dec 06: 125.6 Dec 13: 125.6 Dec 20: 126.0 I have been consistent with the gym and made gains in my strength training. But I’m sure I went up a pound or two this last week with alcohol, sweets and restaurants. So I’ve decided I’m going to call December a bulk cycle 😁. I’m feeling ready…
  • Congratulations @cayenne_007 !! Excited for you! Good luck with the new addition @HoneyBadger155 !
  • Height: 5’4” Goal: 120 Dec 01: 127.0 Dec 06: 125.6 Dec 13: 125.6 Dec 20: Anyone else feel ready to just give up and try again in January? I’m kidding. But really. The busy and tired of this month does not make anything easy! Our trip to see family at Christmas got canceled. I’m disappointed, but also looking forward to…
  • You guys, my kids are killing me! They keep baking stuff. Yesterday my daughter made a cake from scratch. She was very proud of herself and served us each a 5th of it. The day before, my son made a cake, and the day before that, they made cinnamon and sugar muffins together. A couple days earlier, my son made homemade…
  • So I did NOT get my run done yesterday. 😒 Instead we spent the day running around shopping for Christmas. Over 10K worth of steps, but it didn’t help me much. We had a Christmas party last night and while I didn’t ‘over eat’, it was definitely over calories! The scale was kind to me this morning and only showed .4lbs up…
  • Height: 5’4” Goal: 120 Dec 01: 127.0 Dec 06: 125.6 Dec 13: Dec 20: ✔️1. Drink more water ✔️2. Reduce my calories back to losing again ❌/✔️3. Run 3x a week/Strength train 3x a week I’m going to run today, but that will only make twice this week. But I am making progress! Got to wear a tight red leather moto jacket…
  • If you are having trouble with bloat and constipation as well, I would get tested for Celiac. I have a couple friends who have the disease and being diagnosed changed their lives for the better. If it’s not Celiac, the doctor may be able to shed light on what it could be.
  • I loved frito pie for dinner when I was a kid! My kids love it now too, although I will feed it to them and then make grown up food for myself and my husband :) Posting more often helped me out today. I wanted to post earlier but decided to wait because I wanted to report that I ran today -which motivated me to go run.…
  • I’m currently loving these Greek yogurts with a teaspoon of graham cracker crumbs on top. Sometimes I will even add a quick squirt of Reddi Whip. High protein and low calorie, yet they taste just like dessert. Today I had the lemon, but my favorite is the seasonal pumpkin which does taste just like the pie. I also had a…
  • Height: 5’4” Goal: 120 Dec 06: Dec 13: Dec 20: @I4a_p love the thread name! I only have three weeks to get myself into the best shape possible for our Christmas trip to see family and old friends. I will still only weigh in on Fridays, but I’m going to post more to help me stay focused on my goals: 1. Drink more water 2.…
  • We had apple and sage sausage stuffing with brie and it was delicious. I love it with walnuts, figs and honey. And wine. I haven’t had it with cranberries, but I can imagine that would be excellent.
  • I would eat an entire wheel of brie.

I saw 125 on the scale a few times this week so I feel good about that because that’s a really good weight for me. My clothes fit well and I feel good. I can be…

I did go to the gym and do weights regularly but only ran once. I had my cycle and a lot of other stuff going on. But I’m looking at the…

I’m so relieved to understand that the intense hunger from the past couple of days is due to ovulation and will pass. I saw 125.4 on the scale this week. It was bittersweet. A year and a…
