Week 1/3 of vacation Spent the week in the mountains with friends and smashed every activity in sight: hikes, trail-runs, cycling over Alpine passes, and a whopping 8 km in the pool. 🏔️🚴♀️🏃♀️🏊♀️ IF Stats: Food intake: ~2 900 kcal / day Intermittent fasting: 15 h fast (≈9 h eating window) Yesterday’s monster hike nearly…

Hello everyone ! This week is a challenge, on holidays with friends. I am very active and I have managed to skip breakfast most days. Also skipped dessert yesterday… If I maintain in August I will already be happy and at the same time I don't feel my best in my summer clothes. But sustainable means I won't lose my weight…

That is great @nature_moments (and a bit reassuring ahah) Yesterday was a total food disaster 😅 Too much bread, too much alcohol, too much chocolate = too much of everything. So this week's goal is plain and clear: 🕗 Skip breakfast 🙅♀️ No snacking between meals 💡 Just eat normally — and well. Let’s go! 💪

Hello girls ! (is there a boy here?) Last week was a good week. Average eating window 6h45, average calories intake 2400kcal (I am aiming at 2300). Starting a week of vacation with friends. No scale here. Goal for this week will be to avoid too much chips, cheese and appetizers. There are also triathletes so swimming,…

hello girls I have tried keto (I am a fan of Dr Fung) but it really doesn’t work well with me. I felt constantly hungry… Today was a good day. I fasted until 1PM. Did 25’ bike and 45’ run. Ate good food except for too much chocolate. I think I had read that semaglutide had a similar effect as fasting does (decreasing…

@sweetbloodpops 4 years on oxygen… you must be so relieved it is finally over. I am sure you can reach whatever goal you decide you want to reach if you give it the necessary time.

@nature_moments I personally find that 1250kcal is really low. But of course everyone is his own experiment of one and you know best ! That's bad luck for your ankle. Is it swollen a lot. It can take up a few weeks… In regards to my own MFP objectives, exercice & calories: I was a binge eater several years ago and I have…

@LittleSurferGirl7 nice pseudo ! You are going to see the 199 soon anyway. Your pace is the good pace. The important thing is consistency. This is motivating ! Weight this morning : 68,4kg Goal weight : 65kg

Hey everyone! I’ve been looking for a forum to help me stay on track a bit more consistently — even though I’m heading off on vacation this Sunday for three weeks 😅 Right now, I’m combining intermittent fasting with triathlon training, so I definitely allow myself way more calories than MyFitnessPal recommends… But lately,…

Hello, have you tried the happy scale app ? It is wonderful. You can weight every day but only consider your average weight.
-
Yes ! and they have a podcast too. Sometimes I am listening to them while walking. I was asking on the other discussion (UAC) how you are doing ? I feels it has been some time I have read news about you. I hope all is well ?

Oh I would have loved to get that edition with pictures lol. At the moment, I am doing a mixed version of overnight oats and chia pudding. It is good. oats cocoa powder chia seeds a teaspoon of vegan protein powder (peas) maple syrup soy milk

I have started my vegetarian journey with the no meat athlete 1st book. It is really what help me be confortable with the decision to eat vegetarian even being a triathlete. I just find that their books (I also have the 2nd one) are not beautiful. No pictures of food.

oh no I hope you are not too sick @henridw2095

Mycoprotein is good and I like it. I don't use it often because it is difficult to get it organic and I aim for most of our food being organic. I hope you are better soon @henridw2095

I don't even have the app on my phone anymore. I have stopped tracking calories 2 months ago. It is going OK. I still track on paper but it takes a lot less time. I like the forum - especially the people I feel connected to in the forums !! So I am staying. I don't want to stop caring about it because I know from past…

Maybe with the loss of the newsfeed the forums will grew as important tools for connection.

Love cacao powder. I am usually mixing it with soy milk and a banana. So simple and satisfying !

Hello ! I have gone back to IF one month ago and also fine-tuning it. I don' count calories anymore but I track on paper and I stayed on the MFP community because I find quite helpful in terms of accountability. This week I am allowing IF 14/10 because I am in PMS. I have planned the following - day 1 to day 10: allow for…

I love wasabi peanuts but it is very calorically dense !! 😬😬

Hi girls I hope everybody had a good night sleep 😁 @Curvykinkycurls I usually do 16:8 but this week I tried alternating down days with only 1 meal (Done on Monday, Wednesday and yesterday) and up days with 3 meals and a snack. It was easy to follow because my « fast muscles » are strong, I am used to it but I am not sure…

Yes I also eat more dairy and while I eat less sweets my weight doesn’t come down. I am thinking about going back a little on the cheese… I have also started intermittent fasting again and that feels great. It has been 2 weeks now and that also didn’t impacted the scale. Disappointing. But so long as I don’t gain. In…

Hello ladies, Thought I would give you some news. So I stopped counting calories now 2 weeks ago, deciding instead to focus on my nutrition plan and intermittent fasting. I still track on paper what I eat otherwise I now I will "take advantage". I am not sure if I will come back to counting calories. It is refreshing not…

This looks delish Eva. You're doing great, sticking with showing up for your health.

I also made the soup today but with less water. The raw garlic in the sauce is hard but otherwise it is good indeed and not my usual so thanks 😊
-
I agree with you all, if I don’t track I will gain weight. I still track on paper and aim to eat what my nutritionist told me to. I must admit it is great not to focus on calories anymore. I will see in one month if it works out OK !!!
-
So good that you are feeling better. I have stopped counting calories recently (this weekend) and I am focusing on my nutrition plan, tracking on paper. I don’t want to gain weight. I will see how it goes. Have you guys made “pauses” in your tracking ?
-
Oh so sorry for you @chelseynikole9618 I hope it doesn't last too long

Sort of. Without the egg and oil and replacing parmesan by nutritional yeast. It is definitely that post that got me inspired to make some savory oats 😍
