This drives me nuts. MFP reflected my steps from Samsung Health for the 5 days before yesterday, but all of a sudden yesterday it was no longer doing it. No changes to either my watch or the app on my phone. Everything seems to be connected ok. It's done this before and I have no idea. Very annoying.....

To be successful, I must weigh every morning and track all meals and exercise. I'm a visual person and I need to see it. With my body, I don't get daily swings in weight unless it's legit. Every morning. I understand the 'once a week' recommendation, but after using mfp for 7 years now I can almost tell you what my weight is going to be based on what I ate and what I did the day before. I like to see the visual of those decisions on the daily.

My allotment is 1,200 cal/day and there are days where I feel really good at 1,000. It's not often- maybe once a week, but if that happens I don't make myself eat more. Of course, always good to get your doc's feedback but generally your body is going to let you know when it needs more.

I have always allowed Friday night to be my pizza night and I eat as much as I want. It helps me to stay on track during the week if I know I have that to look forward to.
