The sensor is only paired when you have it attached to the strap.
-
You're welcome

If it's not on your watch, there is a profile for treadmill , and most gym equipment in flow that you can sync to it.
-
Flow will only sync to MFP using a IOS/Apple product.

I have the V800, and I've used the loop, and FT80 the only time I've had problems with "activity tracking" is when I'm using a certain elliptical with out handles, it misses a lot of steps, but since it's actually tracking activity by my HR then, it doesn't matter. I like the polar because they sync with most cardio…
-
How do I stop these notifications?
-
I do the elliptical, and wear a HRM sometimes while holding the handles my heart rate will be all over the place, I have to let go to get a good reading.

Why do hot dogs wieners come in pack of 10 and buns come in pack of 8? https://youtu.be/VrfZGwNKxN4

okay, looking at a bleep test, how would running on the treadmill mimic that event? Maybe I'm missing something, but it seem like it's just and endurance test?
-
If you change your activity level, you probably will see your calorie adjustment change.
-
It may be counting your steps as exercise. What do you have your activity level set too. How many steps do you average a day?
-
what CyberTone said, also if you are using a device that separates exercise from daily activity, IE: a polar device, you will get credit for the exercise, but it still will give you a negative adjustment if you don't reach your goal for daily activity set by MFP IE: if your daily goal is 2600, and you gain 500 from…

I'm not a heavy eater, so didn't have to cut back. I do 60 mins of cardio 5 days a week, burning about 600 extra calories. lost 30 lbs and keeping it off. started this about 2 1/2 years ago.
-
what is your level of activity? Do you have MFP set to negative adjustments? What device are you using to measure your steps?
-
Try the M400, it has GPS instead of the swim feature.
-
Polar Flow will only sync to MFP through an IOS product, doesn't work with Android, or PC
-
The A300 will give you most, if not all of the information you're looking for, the FT will only give you your heart rate, and if I'm not mistaken, you can't download the information.

I've been using the V800 for over a year, I've used the GPS features, for just walking around the neighborhood, to walking around a cruise ship. As for the neighborhood, it was pretty much spot on, only giving me a lap count when I came within a few feet of my starting point on the same side of the street. Didn't expect…

Here's something that may fit your needs, see page 20 manual on display. http://www.amazon.com/Polar-Heart-Monitor-Watch-Black/dp/B001F0PVO4 http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/C1BIDsACQ9S.pdf
-
Yes you can set the display to show just heart rate
-
Most of the Polar activity monitors, you can set the screen to show how you would like it to look, with one to three activities.
-
wish I did own a scuba shop, preferably in the Caribbean  it didn't start tracking until I reached the surface, now I was wearing a 3mil suit. with full jacket BCD so that may have caused some interference, it uses gymlink underwater and bluetooth any other time. I haven't had any issue with it since then, this was…

The Polar activity monitors are water proof to 30m if you're using it to swim with the A300, A360 and V800 can monitor HR in water with the H7 sensor.
-
I have a V800, but the deepest I've been is around 100 ft with the H7 sensor. my heart rate flat-lined, but it never indicated it lost the signal. it's only rated for 30m
-
Here's a site where you can compare for what you need. For steady state cardio, something with a chest strap would be a better choice. The polar H7 sensor has bluetooth to sync to your phone and will also sync with most cardio equipment to control level and resistance by your selected heart rate.…

http://www.livescience.com/43956-walking-10000-steps-healthy.html 10000 steps a day myth.
-
you can connect to your android with the polar flow app to your phone, if you have the right version. but you can only sync with MFP through and IOS system.
-
Most of the polar features will only work with IOS. you should be able to go to settings and turn the vibrate feature on.

even though I don't believe in the 10000 step myth, I average over 13000 steps a day, but my low has been 300 and high 28000. I usually get my 10000 during my cardio workout. Monday was a 2400 step day, but I have 73000 for the week with only 3 days working out
