Awesome pictures, and thank you for sharing. In my next life I would like to be a big flying bird and enjoy the riches of natures from above.

Yes, you do know what to do: Just top eating high calories foods all the time, or keep eating them and if you do gain weight, get back in the wagon when your vacation is over. The solution is very simple.

@perezlau Send a message to the moderators and ask them to move your posting to the Chit-Chat forum. You may get more answers in the proper place. Good luck with the gift's ideas.

Shouldn't be the OP question in Chit-Chats instead "Maintaining Weight?
-
@Alia_R You can try the PHUL program (Power/Hypertrophy/Upper/Lower), and adjust the workout (weight and reps) to what ever you are able to do. Check the link below. https://www.anabolicbodies.com/phul-workout/

Yes, I am!! I have been in maintenance for 9 years so the weighing and logging is getting tedious. My way to deal with it is to take logging breaks or I just do partial logging some days. I don't log restaurant meals unless I have access to their nutritional information, and I don't log on vacation. My weight has been very…

Between 200 and 350 cals. It all depends what my husband makes for breakfast (he is in charge of that meal :)) . I drink my coffee black with a splenda, so all the calories are for food. I always have breakfast, unless I need to fast for a medical procedure. I don't function well in the morning without it.
-
Very exiting weekends snoo :D :D but I bet that you are still burning some cals.

This proofs that we are all different. I only had about 12 lb to lose when I joined MFP. And I, like you, also used tablespoons and cups, and I even searched and used "generic" items (OMG, the nerve!!!), and estimated values when eating out. I lost 14 lb. slowly but surely, and I didn't care. I only got a food scale almost…

A food scale is a very useful tool (and a good recommendation), but not 100% necessary to lose wt. There are many people in MFP, myself included, that have lost weight without one.
-
I only fast overnight (around 12 hrs. between dinner and next day breakfast), or if I have a medical procedure or a test the next day. Personal preference in my opinion.

I am 4 feet 10 inches, wt. between 98 and 100lbs, and old (low BMR). My macros are 35% prot. and carbs and 30% fat. Most of the time I am above in the fat department and below in the carbs, and right on with the protein. My maintenance calories are about 1450 (moderate active), plus some exercise calories (strength…

Ask the moderators to move your post to the Food and Nutrition section; this is a a session to discuss general fitness and health. Please alk to your OB/GYN. You have a medical problem that needs to be discussed with a medical professional not with random people in the internet.

I don't like or eat cookies or brownies. Since I don't have a sweet tooth (never did), I am the polarizing agent ion this world :D .

@NewLIFEstyle4ME Congratulations, well done! I think that if you remove the socks and the "bunnies", you will probably weigh less... :D

Glady so we can elect our own leaders and don't have to put up with the DC *kitten*.

@NewLIFEstyle4ME Thank you for the info about the "mix" with Dr. Bronner and the regular washing machine detergent. Got it without confusion. And thank you for the information, pictures, and link about the dryer balls ( :D). I will look for them next time that I visit Marshall or T.J.M. G <3

@NewLIFEstyle4ME Nice looking Murphy's bed you posted. I like the white one better! I am glad that your job with your kids' pillows worked so good and congratulations on your "new" bedroom and the wonderful and relaxing feeling that you and your husband are experiencing with the decor. Way to go! I would like to ask you if…

I am not crazy or passionate about about ice cream, specially the weird flavors; but my supermarket has a no-sugar added easy-churned ice cream that I enjoy once in awhile. I like the vanilla flavor and the one with added pecans. I tried the cherry flavor but it tasted too sweet for me. I may need to check the Archer farms…

Me too!! Recliners can be our best friend in situations like this. It also allowed me to take day breaks and naps without going to bed. It makes the getting up and down much easy to do.

I had two RC tears; one in each shoulder and they both needed full open surgery. They were not fun, specially the rehabilitation, but they were needed. No PT will repair tears in so many tendons, so admit that you will need surgery eventually, if you want to retain full mobility in your shoulder. Pain will not go away,…

@NewLIFEstyle4ME Thank you very much for the information about the Castile soap and the dryers' balls (it does sound a little bit kinky, doesn't it :p ). Have a good evening. G.
-
@NewLIFEstyle4ME Good job! Where do you buy the "Bronner's Hemp Lavender castile liquid soap?" I like the idea of adding it to my bedding and towels washes. I didn't use bleach or clorox on my wash because the pillows were not bad at all, but I will consider it in the future, if needed. I used the " all white" cycle in the…

I don't like bagels so I don't eat them. I prefer English muffing or toast.

Pillows update: I washed two pillows today and I am happy with the results. They look nice, fluffy and fresh. The pillows were in pretty good condition, including the covers (I washed them too). No yellow marks or stains. The pillows were in one of the guest rooms, and they are only used once a year (grandchildren rooms).…

Beautiful pictures, and thank you for posting.

Many mattresses can't be turned over, just turned around. Most of them come now with a "top pad" attached to the original mattress (I have no idea what is that thing called ;)) that can't be removed. I have a Cal-king size bed, so it takes two people to do the rotation, and hubby is not too happy with that chore. Mine has…

Thanks for the links. I will take a look and try first with the guest room pillows. Mine and my husband are special "foam" neck pillows so I don't know about the washing. Maybe I can look and see if I find a tag for washing instructions.

I never washed my pillows either. Just the special cover and the pillow cases of course... I heard about the washing but I am very concerned that once I put them inside the washing machine, the pillows will end up in the trash. I need to take an inexpensive old pillow and use it as a guinea pig..Stay tuned ;)
