I typed my answer in the wrong place. OMG, what a senior moment I had. Sorry about that folks. o:)

Sorry CeeBee for not writing sooner. Too much to do in the house and garden, plus PT visits twice a week. Spending too much time in the PC is not good for my neck either. I also lost my interest in the logging of food. I close my PC before dinner and whatever I write in a piece of paper sometimes doesn't make it to the…

@SModa61 and @Fuzzipeg Me thinks that somebody is confused (maybe I am...) Is this the COVID discussion or the exercise and goals discussion? :/

"I happen to find it tedious and annoying so I will only do it in short bursts. " I feel the same. Since I have been in maintenance for more than 12 years, being very strict with the weighting and logging of everything that I put in my mouth is not very important. I have days of sporadically logging, follow by days of more…

My husband and I are still in almost Covid/pandemic measures. We are very up in age. No movies, theaters or inside activities/gatherings with a lot of people. Restaurants only for lunch and mostly eating outside (S. California weather makes it possible for the most part). Masks at all medical facilities (as required by…

I cleaned up and organized one of the cabinets in the laundry room. It was not cluttered but I needed a better way to be able to find all the items stored. This cabinet keeps mostly cleaning/laundry products that I use often, if I don't have room under the kitchen sink. I found things that I forgot I had, and others that…

@Fit2btied2016 You should have written that comment on 1/09. I was more motivated yesterday than today and I got more things done. I managed to cancel/delete three things in my "to do list." Today it was only one. Today I had things popping up that were not part of my plans, so I had to take care of that. I guess that it…

Yes, because I don't like the new format in the website. I don't have the app so I can judge it. But the display in the Community section totally turns me off. I think that this is the first time that I post a comment in several months. Rant over.

@LoveyCharley You can take the papers to an Office Depot location for recycling; they charge a small amount according to weight but it is worthy if you don't have a shredding machine at home. Everything goes inside a locked trash bin, and weekly picked up by a professional shredding company. At least that is the case where…

There are many Christmas decorations that I could do without, including a very large fake tree that takes a lot of room in the garage and in the hallway when it is up. My husband is more of a Christmas person than me and he is in charge of setting the tree. Something that we haven't done since 2019 (I wonder why :/ ....).…

@BexB42 Anyone else overwhelmed with nostalgic stuff and want to let it go? I don't like letting the memories go, but the actual items are probably not as important as I think. Yes, I do!! but my husband is worse. If I am going to donate or give away something that it was/is important to me, I want to be to a person or…

@bobsburgersfan You are correct. Most of the articles about organization and de-clutering apply to "perfect conditions." Which most of us don't encounter, but the general idea and some little tips in between lines, can be very helpful. Just like a recipe, I choose what ingredients I like and have available and change the…

Hello everyone! I found this article online and I thought, as I did before, that it would be OK to post it in this thread. It mostly applies to moving and downsizing, but some of the recommendations can be used for general organization and house/apartment de-clutting. And if you don't care about the article, just drool…

I found this article online today and I thought that it was well written, quite helpful and appropriate for this thread. Even if we don't need to reduce clutter, we always need to organize and re-organize. Check it out. The 12 Golden Rules of Decluttering and Organizing Your Home…

I haven't posted (in any thread) in several months, but I have been following all the comments in this none. The new format that MFP adopted few months ago turned me off completely. My house is in order so I don't need to declutter, but I do need to continue organizing closets, drawers, and kitchen cabinets. Too many…

What kind of results are you looking for?

My husband is the same. About 5 years ago I had the inside of our closets done, and I told him that I was going to pay for his if he got rid of all the clothes that he didn't wear anymore. We took 7 big trash bags full of his old stuff to the donation center. Some of his clothes reminded me of what Travolta used to wear in…

I read the Pfizer's vaxx may get full approval soon, but Moderna has not presented all the safety reports to the FDA yet, so it will take time for that vaccine to get full approval. Hopefully since Pfizer already paved the road, it wouldn't take too long.…

I read that attendees had to show a negative covid test or proof of vaccination. Originally was for around 500 people and "scaled" back to just family and friends. Not numbers given. https://www.cnn.com/2021/08/02/politics/obama-birthday-bash-marthas-vineyard/index.html

I finally check some of the upper shelves in our closets. Lots of blankets that I don't need anymore and also a king size mattress cover that doesn't fit our mattress, plus some socks that my husband will not wear again (and they are brand new and never used). I also found a couple of reversible twin bedspreads, not longer…

Stick to the original posting. The OP didn't ask for opinions about taking or not taking vitamins, the OP just wondered about the calories that some vitamins have.

I am sorry for your loss, but I am sure that she is looking at you and saying: that is my boy! Keep up the good work and be safe.

This 12th years old doesn't agree with your idea and she seems to have more empathy and common sense that some adults. Florida tween takes on school board to call for mask mandate Lila Hartley is heading into seventh grade next week. She's excited about history class and trying to figure out how to make more friends when…

I didn't use a scale until I was in maintenance, and I did just fine. Using a scale is a tool, a good one, but not the only way to manage portion control.
