last week i could type in brand and item and get great results. Now it just comes up empty. Example: Last week i could search "trader joe instant oatmeal" or "trader joe oatmeal" and get results. Now I get nothing unless I just type "oatmeal" which is completely useless as it means scrolling extensively to find something. how do i fix this? Same with "bread" - can't be even remotely specific anymore.

To be honest, I neither have this problem on website/browser nor with the iOS app. And even your search term gives lots of results. Sorry, I can't reproduce this. Why not send a mail to MFP support, and do mention what platform you use.

I've been having issues with MFP's search, too. Sometimes, it will return no result, then I press enter, and it has a result. Sometimes, I have to take the brand name out only to scroll and find an entry that matches what I searched. Searches that used to work aren't consistently working for me either. It may be because I use Chrome? Maybe I should try using the iOS app or another browser.

I have same issues, android phone on website (not app.)

Sometimes returns results on 3rd time pressing search button.

Sometimes i have to change order of words

    • f.ex, switch Trader joes oats to Oats Trader Joes

It also gives many non-related foods or brands, often.

I use Firefox and I been having the same problems on and off as @ samgettingfit25.

Honestly, MFP is making me very upset because of the time involved finding and logging new items, besides changing the ones that carry the wrong or incomplete information.

My Food list is getting too long and I can't delete items that are incorrect or that I don't eat anymore.
