That is so great that 1) you got to spend some time with your love in a setting away from the norm and 2) you got to splurge without feeling bad afterwards! Keep up the great attitude and keep planning fun times for the future.

When drinking a lot of tea, be sure to increase your iron. I think the tannic alters how we absorb it. Tea also has great benefits so enjoy!

Heather, great job doing that punishment. Yes, burpees are the worst, but great for your bod! Nina, you are beautiful and strong. I found your story inspirational. It's amazing how what we surround ourselves with can have such a strong mental and emotional affect on us good and bad. Let's try to surround ourselves with the…

This may sound ridiculous, but I saw both of these tricks on shows where they are trying to teach serious over eaters how to slow down and become aware of the "I'm full" signals. 1) eat with your non dominant hand. it's like learning how to eat all over again so it takes time and concentration. 2) eat with a toothpick as…

Thursday Shout Out! Pretty pathetic numbers here so far, but it'll get done: 20/80 Cardio 28/45 Strength Training The calories... I tried to fight the good fight but lost to Senor Binge again. But at least it was a little Mistor mistake instead of the normal Grande Senor Mistako! This probably doesn't make any sense to…

Betsy and Keile, y'all are so goofy :) Heather, I absolutely love lamb and mutton! It's so flavorful, but a little calorie dense for me so I try to do it for special occasions. I have been wanting to seriously cook with bugs for a long time. There's not that many (people grade) edible bug farms in the U.S. though. Sigh, I…

I get starving hungry if I stay up too late. I either go to bed or drink some serious amounts of liquids: water, tea, and coffee. The caffeine may keep you up though so I'd recommend decaf (which still has some caffeine) or herbal teas. I find that if I start snacking, I get carried away and binge on several thousand…

Mrs. Dash has salt free seasonings and marinades. Plus, it's available in most grocery stores.

I'm a long time binger. Something I'm testing the waters with is splitting up my day into 6 meals instead of 3 meals with snacks throughout the day. I know it sounds virtually the same, but if meal time is coming around in 2 or 3 hours, it helps satiate that craving for me. I can easily binge into the 6,000 calorie area.…

Have you tried pickled vegetables? It's super popular in the south! We can and pickle everything. Carrots and okra are some of my favorite pickled vegetables.

If you're worried about being carb heavy, you could wet rice paper in warm water, stuff with crab/shrimp, cucumber, and any other herbs and wrap like mini burrito. Yum, yum, yum

I remember something about presurgery patients fasting and drinking milk to shrink their livers.

We are also supposed to share an unusual, high protein recipe. This one I've personally tried (and it's delicious): brownie cake! The unusual protein in this dessert are beans. Throw ingredients into a blender: 1 drained can of beans (I like black for color) 2 eggs 4 egg whites or 2/3 cup carton whites 4 tbs cocoa powder…

Team Glenn: I need to share some motivation. I've found that as more people in my life get healthier, it's easier to make better decisions for myself. Monkey see, monkey do I guess :) maybe I can have a good affect on others that I know. Exercise really does help with stress. I don't want to go into a rant about all that…

Oh. My. God. Punishment is torture. No more slacking off for me, I need to win.

Mummyappleseed, you are too funny! I love that your baby hot involved for your health. Anoiam50, you're cardio is through the roof! I need to catch up to you. Tammy, you better be having fun on your cruise girl! Cindyb97, I hope you are getting better. It's so hard to do anything when you're under the weather. The team…

My dad did this diet many years ago (when the shakes tasted like chalk). It helped him lose, but when he stopped he reverted back to old habits and gained it back. He's since reduced overall calories and has lost an amazing amount of weight. These shakes taste pretty good now and if you don't revert back to your old diet…

Thanks Samantha, it's so nice to hear that. It gives me hope that I can do better.

Well, unfortunately, funeral directors aren't the richest people in the world and this has been my routine for the past 5 years. I'm just an employee so I wish more help was available, but I don't entirely have control over that department. I definitely like the idea of prepping healthy food on my down time. I think…

Thank you guys, I have a crock pot but didn't even think about using it (haven't pulled it out since my college days). I could definitely bring a cooler with snacks to reach for. I do need some deflation, but I could definitely watch my shows on a tablet or phone while meal prepping. Super good advice, again, thank you!

Thanks Cindy. This is my first time around so I was so confused. Going to try the workout now :)

Kiele, I think there is an error on the challenge post. I didn't see the videos for the challenges or the rewards/punishments for characters either. They did say you can do the 300 squat challenge if you can't access the videos so yes you're right if they don't post the challenge video or you don't feel like waiting for…

You'd think that these people would've acquired the knowledge of tourniquets by now. That could've possibly saved Tyrese while waiting to cauderize his arm. This episode was okay, I guess the coolest thing was the zombie body parts everywhere. Grrr... need more gore and action.
-
Oh Cindy, I hope you feel better. Please don't over exert yourself. Lots of liquids and rest (and healthy eating of course)

Tammy and Audrey, I hope y'all finished your early bird challenges. I only got around to one between traveling and work, but boy was it a doozie! Michelle, Betsy, Heather, and Kiele (love the name by the way), welcomes all around and we are going to rock this challenge! Yall feel free to add me if you need someone to cheer…

Hey Tammy, Katie, and Nina! So glad y'all are up for the challenge - this is going to be fun.

Welcome Trista, Kira, and Audrey! Guess I should've introduced my name too, I'm Bonnie. Yall feel free to add me if we haven't already connected. I'm here for both support and fun.

Fitness Blender is also a great source for free YouTube workout videos

Hey everyone! Just joined the beginners group and I'm rooting for Glenn. I hope all of us get stronger and healthier while having some fun and enjoying the show. I love competitions so feel free to give me a friendly kick in the butt when needed. Go us!

This looks like fun! I love the walking dead! I'm in.
