I'm in perimenopause and the cravings are SO BAD! I just started on saffron capsules, supposed to curb urge to "emotionally" eat.

Everyone who ever accomplished anything did so because there was a driving force behind it. No need to rationalize what that may be for you. Just find it and do it.

If a Kardashian would do it, I wouldn't. It's a philosophy that serves me well.

I look at it this way, life is full of things I can't control, however what I choose to eat is Totally in my control. I weave physical activity into the fabric of a busy "no time for that" day. If I'm eating out or on the go there are usually choices that'll fit, but I always carry a protein bar in my purse, just in case.

Wishing you luck with your goals! It does eventually become habit and routine, take one meal, one work out at a time:)

A friend and I joined at the same time and I still prefer to go alone. I like to mix it up and most days, weather permitting, I walk 5-8 miles. When I do go to the gym I like to get my tunes in, do hiit, get in get out, not there to socialize. If meeting with a trainer isn't in the budget, YouTube up a routine while there,…

Sounds like the week I finally pulled out of. Sorry you're having a rough time and I hope you don't lose power! I've been at this for quite sometime. I've rode out some VERY bad times. The way I did, I don't over think or over complicate my goal. Life around us gets over complicated, but zeroing in on one thing helps. For…

47 here, lost 60ish and tge last 10 to 15 has been the bain of my existence. Cravings are worse, moodiness is worse, the only thing I've gotten a handle on is knowing I can lose weight if I try harder.

If you stay with him, you're telling him his behavior is acceptable. As far as others have commented regarding deserving better or infidelity, I do not believe in the concept of "deserve ". There's what we work for, there's what we are graced with and there's a whole abyss of "unfair " that we learn to navigate. It's time…

If I'm out hiking in extreme temps hot or cold my face will get a few whiteheads, acv on a qtip disolves them in seconds. I'll mix it with honey if I get a sore throat, it helps. Never believed anything I've read regarding weight loss.

I've had as much as a 4lb gain then loss in 24 hours, culprit sodium. Check your salt and water intake , if it doesn't comr off in a couple days, double check your logging vs calories burned.

I'm struggling too and gained almost 9 since October. My triggers are a bit different, emotional, death, loss and still caring for a difficult family member. ...I started therapy a few weeks ago but was awful the last week. Feel free to add. I still try to maintain humor!

At 47 I look younger than I did at 37, 60lbs difference. Now I get asked if I'm even 40 yet. And on rare occasion, still get carded .

My ability to do certain things I wasn't able to do when obese, like hiking long distances. And as of late, the way I'm being treated, being I'm close to goal. Things like doors being opened for me, people being more pleasant in public, that didn't happen 60 lbs ago.

It depends on the meals, I have tummy trouble with cheese and doughy breads but I still get pizza for the boys once a week, I have something else. For Xmas there's prime rib, got myself a sirloin patty. Most other 1 pot meals I try to work into my macros. I'm cooking for many so my dietary needs shouldn't effect them.

I like the apple pie ones but recently tried the Think Thin 20gram protein lemon, yummmmm! !!!!!!

The way I look at if someone's choices does not negatively affect me I don't care what they do. Don't want to "workout " and be gleeful and proud that you don't, fine by me. My choice to workout isn't about weight but the numerous benefits it has given my quality of life. I'm "mildly" disabled and this Fall, for my kid's…

View them as being part of the holiday decorations, you wouldn't eat the decorations. A good sub is having a strong mint or licorice hard candy on hand, it gives you that taste where anything after that wouldn't taste right.

Dealing with binge eating. Seeing someone for it as of tomorrow, first time ever. Feel free to add

Making an honest effort to log everything, even if I have to best guess it. At least I won't br in denial if I see the scale jump up. Weigh every day.

Happy is a subjective term. Will I accept the number as a measurement, yes, will I get complacent and not continue to improve, no.
-
Not anymore. Granted some days I struggle and go above maintenance, other days it's easy, but not at any point do I say screw it, because I've come way to far.

My first obgyn, a female, told me, at 16 I would be a pretty girl if I lost weight. The wrongness , on so many levels.

If hypnosis or meditation gives you a sense of calm to encourage you to eat at a deficit, then yes it can be helpful. I use meditative music to chill me out instead of automatically reaching for food. It is all cico BUT whatever tools you can use to get there are helpful.

Wowness!!!!!! Congrats! !!

To be honest sometimes I'm not motivated, but I take a hard look at what my life was like when I wasn't trying each day to be active and eat smaller amounts. That usually snaps me out of it.

I'll keep it simple. Marry someone who you actually like as a person flaws and all vs just someone you have hot pants for hoping you can "change " them.
-
I can hike over 8 miles, whereas before I struggled with 3.

I don't get one anymore, had surgery because it was out of hand heavy. But, even on my previous worst days, I found exercise, cardio and stretching, helped a lot with all symptoms. Even when I didn't want to I forced myself and always felt better.

I haven't been on a "diet" the entire time it took me to lose 60lbs. And I'll continue to not be on a diet over the holidays, instead I'll make a conscious decision to not eat All the cookies, or 2nds of the sweet potatoes, or drink til I'm sick or have foods that'll upset my stomach. And I'll decide to exercise every day…
