Remember your "why's " in you exercise and plan and let that be your motivation during your healing time! Much luck to you!

Congrats! ! I'm 1 year behind ya and I feel WAY better now than I did 10 years ago (60 down 15 to 20 to go) Stick with it the pay off so worth it!!

I learned a long time ago jealousy is a futile emotion it does not lead to anything positive, replace it with focus on pride, in your own progress

I have spinal damage and can only do low impact, lost 60, (restarted mfp for last 15) bp 120/70, cholesterol 157. Dr is impressed with my muscle strength despite nerve damage....all thanks to low impact exercise.

I'm a huge fan of it. Been doing i.f. for better calorie control but recently incorporated a few days of extended fast for menopause relief. I'm not doing any hormone replacement and was having a devil of a time with mood, hot flashes, sleeplessness. Since doing 1 to 3 water fast days every few weeks, ALL are resolved. Woo…

Thank you so much for sharing! !! Congratulations on your hard work and progress! !!!

The number is very important to me. I lost and kept off over 50lbs but at one point it was 67lbs. There is a number that I refuse to get over, so I reset my progress to zero and started over to get the regain off plus an additional 5 to 7. Admittedly I struggle with my self worth being tied to what I weigh, though my brain…

I am relating to everything aforementioned! ! Almost 49 here and struggling so much! My ability to be as active as I want is also hampered by spinal and nerve problems. I tried keto, that helped with hot flashes but fostered binges, too restrictive, now I'm doing lower carb , increased fruit and vegetables and not beating…

If you're holding on to past failures and regrets you might as well be holding a big bag bricks when you get on that scale, set it down, push it aside and proceed with the here and now.

60 Minutes on the elliptical and some light weights and core!

I recently had admitted I "struggle " with binging. Since doing that, I started reading 2 books, Brain over Binge and Taming The Feast Beast. I have found both to be very interesting and helpful. In a matter of 2 weeks from me telling myself and others I "struggle " today I feel I "manage ". One simple word change, one…

To simplify, changing a habit, permanently.

I log mine as a way to remember to take them

It definitely gets better, then it becomes second nature. Allow for recovery, definitely start weights, proper form to prevent injury is more important than the amount of weight at first. Most importantly have fun with it! Music helps!

I've been on and off a couple months, but when I'm sticking to it results are great. More importantly it's entirely curbed my craving for alcohol! It's also very helpful with my menopause symptoms, I'm not on any hormone replacement and just dealing with the headaches moodiness hot flashes. ..this way of eating seriously…

Hydrate, log everything to the gram , be honest with all of the logging and avoid the scale for a week

Been doing keto and learning as I go. Feel free to add!

Necessary no, beneficial in so many ways, yes.

I have severe scoliosis, last mri suggested I shouldn't even be able to walk wo assistance, but I do. Always always ask dr first regarding exercise. What works for me is physical therapy, a lot of pilates style stretching foam rolling and resistance bands. I'm recovering from torn hammy but I can still walk 5 miles, 8ish…

In the early 90s at the height of the no fat craze coworker told me it was okay to eat a whole loaf of bread (one of those mini bread bowls ) as long as I didn't put butter on it and I won't gain weight :# Fitness wise, my mother told me 20 years ago with my first pregnancy that I should not exercise, I'm depriving the…

Wishing you much success! Very much in same boat! Sending fr :)

Been there done that. ..hands you the tshirt;) Life happens, slip ups happen, but not quitting altogether has a pay off!

Not an issue, I'm getting Chinese take out for the family and I've logged my food already, not tempted.

I've experienced it in ways I get treated in public. One example doors being held open, when I was 50lbs heavier it didn't happen, it did prior when I was thin and it happened again (with frequency ) after I lost weight. The difference in customer service too was notable. It seems I can get what I want easier now with a…

Cereal, I stopped eating it because what a "serving " actually was, not worth the calories.

Good morning, I'm Laura, started keto strictly this past Sunday. I'd lost 67 with just cico and had a very rough year gained back 15. Reset my days and my start weight and started fresh just a couple weeks ago. Looking to do keto primarily for what I read it does for inflammation (I have severe scoliosis and torn hammy…

Michigan here, and I decided to embrace the mood and blah and cold and dark got a bunch of compression wear full balaclava snow shoes spikes...I get out and wow it makes a difference.

In same boat, a lil different scenario as to the amount of alcohol and the "why" but it has become problematic. I started on kudzu (available at all vitamin stores) I don't know how or why it works but it curbs the craving! I also pour my sparkling water in a wine glass, something about sipping out of the "good crystal "…

Sending you on. It should be as simple as just clicking on name but that'll allow for a message
