Truthfully, I've learned to avoid the topic altogether. Minds don't get changed. You keep up the good work and stay with what works for you! !! :)

Cheers to your success! !! You have a positive mindset!

Good morning! Feel free to add! I had been at it for 3 years lost 66 gained back 16 and just recently reset my ticker getting fresh start! It really is a day by day thing and sometimes just hour by hour! Wishing you luck!

I don't turn down going. But I have learned to keep my food choices to myself. Telling people you are choosing to eat different than you used to opens a HUGE can of worms. If someone really presses you on "why" you won't over indulge smile and say you're full. Leave it at that don't elaborate and enjoy people's company.

I prefer my "heavy" meal mid day and at dinner time when the rest of the family is having a big meal I'll have a shake. I like quest no flavor added powder or Paleo egg white powder , mixed frozen berries , almond milk and to really thicken it I'll add fiber powder. Another yummy shake, powder, almond butter, cinnamon,…

That's not the same as holding my breath waiting for a miraculous loss, is it;)

Yes, Im logging and not having my usual indulgences (stuffing smothered in spiked cranberry relish). I'm having some physical health issues and eating like that , even if it's one day will cause me discomfort. In a way I'm counting it as a blessing, because I still am 20 from goal, don't need it to be any more than that.

Hop back on! You can do it!

If one was in AA the protocol is to be able to contact their sponsor at any hour if they are feeling they might drink. In changing eating or exercising behaviors it would be nice to think, as my fat *kitten* is bent into the fridge at midnight, I could call someone to smack the cake out of my hand, but I don't know anyone…

There was nothing positive about high blood pressure, joint pain, chaffing, chronic heartburn. All related to the extra weight. I will never be a swimsuit model but I'm positive about my body not killing me now.

Everyone is different but I'll share what gets me back on track quickly. I honestly ask myself what is more important? being fit and improve disability (spinal damage ) or be frustrated and have my drink(s) and binges (the only time I binge is after I drink) The stresses of my day to day sometimes has my reply as "nope, I…

Tuna mixed with hummus topped with pickles or relish! My sons clear the room when I prepare it

I very much understand how easy it is to revert to old habits! I gained a lil back myself and I've hit the panic button. I'm sending a friend request!

I'm trying a different way this year. The past year was awful, stress, mourning, too much to handle at once and I allowed myself to regain 12lbs. I do not want to use the excuse of celebration and festivities to add to that number. I also have an injury inhibiting my usual level of fitness. I will eat at a deficit, doesn't…

1/4 cup canned pumpkin, 3tsp pumpkin pie spice, 12oz almond or cashew milk (unsweetened ) 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional ) 1tbsp honey , ice, blend

I am a stress eater, feel free to add! Been at this for a long time and I log daily :) :)

The world doesn't stop turning because you've changed a behavior. Cook what you want to eat, be reasonable with compromise when cooking for the both of you, don't buy food that you don't feel you have control or moderation with and if he buys it lock it in a separate area of pantry or part of the house. Most of all, when…

I've done some of my best hikes on only 2 hours of sleep (not by choice ) then slept great the next night. Listen to your body. Low impact exercise can help with stress, less stress , more sleep.

Just had one last night, spawned by alcohol (I'm also working at sobriety, I don't drink every day, maybe once every couple of weeks but when I do I have too many and then eat everything in sight so I'm better off not even having one) I am seeing a professional, and I'm in tune with my triggers. My next leap is to honestly…

I'm on a well with salt filtration so for coffee machine and drinking I get store brand jugs of distilled.

I only logged anything up and above my norm, raking, shoveling, heavy spring cleaning. I saw on 600lb Life a person who was very happy to start being able to stand and do laundry, for them that was an activity that wasn't in their norm, so maybe very very sedentary persons are logging housework.

I've had plenty of negative thrown my way, my default was to initially ignore, then obsess and let it bleep up my day. Now I found the beauty of a brief f u and let it go. Find what makes you feel free or imagine an umbrella deflecting the comment, like the whole rubber glue thing, hey we teach our toddlers it, embrace it;)

I'm struggling with the same also binges. I already exercise daily, but I have some physical disabilities, so when I HAVE to take a rest day that almost makes the stress worse. What has helped me A LOT is meditation, all sorts of free tracks on YouTube, specifically binaural beats, chills me right out just after a few…

Baked cod with mixed peppers and lemon, fresh green beans hot sauce tartar sauce for the others, also, rice pilaf.

I over loaded my coffee with cream and sugar and just decided one day to switch to black never went back. I love all the different notes and flavors naturally between sumatra and Italian dark roast and Fall Blend green mountain, etc. I equate it to the enjoyment between Pinot and Shiraz. Give it a go:)

I won't lie, it's hard, the grief/stress I've been going through the last year has coincided with ny binge eating. I've somehow managed to maintain my 60lb loss, just having a hard go with the last of it. On the days that I'm "good" I get a long walk in drink lots of water and really stop and give myself time to think "do…

I am sorry that you are going through this. I experienced something very similar with one person. They are no longer in my life. The only thing I can offer up is that you cannot change their perceptions, r reasons for their behavior. You can change time you choose to spend with them and maybe join groups clubs events that…

I can only speak for myself why I still bother. I want to live pass 50, 60, 70 etc without needing half of a medicine cabinet to do it and be active and mobile. Not being overweight may not be the only factor in achieving that goal, but I believe it'll help.
