Exercise is not a punishment for what I ate, its a celebration of what my body can do

Beware of agenda based scare tactics. Eat what is enjoyable and SUSTAINABLE for you.

Yup ya right, my 48 years of life experiences, dealing with abuse, loss, death, addiction, recovery and learning the VALUE of laughing it off makes me unqualified to understand your frustration. Enjoy the day!

Or..you can have a sense of humor, life is too short to take oneself so serious

Great news on getting blood work numbers back to good! I'm glad you have a good GP. After I got the weight off it seemed that the GP's that I saw were more willing to listen to me, before, not so much.

Yeah, I went to the doctor too after I went flying into the windshield, and the spinals worked great, but eventually I wanted to be active and train my body to not rely on heavy pain meds and through hard work I'm off all pills. It feels great to not be reliant on drugs.

For the record I'm not dismissing the advancements made by western medicine and I'm certainly not in the acv camp, but again my point was at what point do we take personal responsibility and question their advise regarding diet.

That was just a tiny brush stroke of the bigger picture. And questions were asked especially when they just wanted to give a fat girl the keys to the pharmacy and pseudo diet advice and it took me wanting to find a different way and hard work. I don't feel that personal responsibility is helped by doctors rather, hurt by.

I guess to rephrase, when given less than helpful information, how reliant should we be? Continue to doc shop and pill pop or find another way.

It is simple, it is a matter of choices, small ones day to day. WHICH do love more? The current path you're on or one that leads to weight loss. You do not have to give up all sweets and chips forever. Moderation means different things for different people who have reached their goals, some incorporate a small treat daily,…

If you pass by any tabloid you'll see skinny models and actresses getting cheated on too. Cheating isn't a result of your dress size, it's the result of the character flaw of the cheater. Move on, and do whatever it means to you to have health and wellness.

If a Kardashian would do it , don't.

Two words, cookie butter!; ) Actually I find REALLY good deals on cereals and other dry goods, nuts, prunes etc and I really like their brand of pasta sauce. They have items that most commercial grocery stores don't have, and their wine selection rocks!

I quit over 4 years ago, took me 3 tries to go cold turkey wo prescriptions or patch. First 2 weeks were hell I won't even lie. Still today I crave an occasional 1 but I just don't by a pack. Increasing my activity DEFINITELY helped. 60lbs lost during that time too. It can be done. Good luck!

I definitely prefer mornings, after coffee before any food, it's peaceful and helps me deal with whatever the day throws at me.

You may want to consult with a qualified laser tech. Insurance, in most cases pays. There aren't products that make dramatic differences, but vitamin k creams and calendula help "soften" the look of them. In most cases it's hereditary, being active helps with the circulation which helps prevent the bulging ones. Good luck

I'll never have the body I want either, no matter how hard I work, (deformatity from scoliosis and no bicep in one arm from reconstruction shoulder surgery ) It wasn't until I said to myself "so what " I'm still going to kick *kitten* in every way I was "told" wasn't possible that I found happiness in my progress.

I have a long list of conditions with my back, I used to get spinals for nerve damage. Losing 60lbs has helped more than any drug could ever. Everyone's condition is different though, you will be best served consulting with a physical therapist. Low impact cardio and stretching has helped me the most. There are good…

Pay attention to red flags or behaviors that can develop into a deal breaking scenario. Bring it to her attention in a matter of fact non confrontational way, evaluate her response, and determine for yourself what you'll be willing to accept.

Massage, mani pedi

Mind over matter always helped me. A scenic walk, stretching and meditation, I distract myself with music and just press on.

I do not accept my physical limitations as the final word, I will find a way each day to work around them to become stronger and leaner.
-
The only times I've counted it was when heavy lifting, boxes, footlockers and more than 10 trips up and down the stairs where done. Otherwise no. I do count snow shoveling (800ft driveway ) and raking (a few acres)

When eating out you can do one of two things to stay on track, order to specifications, ie no sauces or extra butter oils, and go with lean protein and salad or go with whatever sounds good to you at that moment and when ordering ask for the take home container put half of meal in container before eating.

Hey! Didn't I see that Photosynthesis Diet on Dr. Oz?!;)

If I think about giving up I get naked and brush my teeth. If stuff is still jiggling about when I'm done brushing than I'm not done getting in shape; ) Truthful answer, I approach much of my routine with humor, so giving up isn't an option.
