I'm not fussed if it has a message or not. 90% of the members here are on this for the same reason as me which is to lose weight. If anyone sends me a friend request I'll accept. Try thinking instead of being on a diet why not instead change your mind set and think of it as living a healthier lifestyle? It seems to be working for me. I've made a goal of losing 20lbs by Christmas but I'm not worried if I don't meet it, so longs I'm going in the right direction I'm happy with that. Sent you a friend request hun :)

I'd like to say there was a trick to help hun but with me it was just to persevere. I did drink water in a wine glass at the beginning and it did kind of help but I wouldn't class it as a trick haha. It's hard breaking a habit that you've done for years but just take each day as it comes.

I'm quite enjoying drinking cold water during the week, I'm not even as fussed when my other half is drinking beer anymore and it helps he's supporting me so much to keep at it. How's everyone getting on?

I stick to wine at the weekend. I've cut out my beer and that's a really big thing for me to do. My other half drinks a lot of beer so I used to as well but didn't think much about it until I decided to start losing weight. Don't need any extra calories building up!

Wow good on you @4homer that's a great achievement to not have a drink for 40 days and a very responsible decision to cut it out till you believe your ready. You have my up most respect for what your doing. You have my support :)

Last week I lost 3lbs and I'm so sure that's because I've cut out my alcohol. I'm actually not as bothered as I thought I'd be about not drinking on a weekday. Some days has been hard but I'm trooping on. Hang in there guys <3

I never just had one glass of wine, if I was buying a bottle of wine I was having the whole lot plus beer afterwards haha. I find it harder to cut out alcohol than it is to lose weight. I know if we all motivate each other to keep going we can do it. I'll be drinking on a Friday night but not on Sundays so least I won't be drinking 5 days in a row still haha. Im 3 days in with no alcohol today and I nearly cracked! I've had the most stressful…

It racks up so many extra calories. I wouldn't like to know how many more calories I go through when I drink during the week ...and my weekend is worse, need to learn moderation haha

Haha I know! My other half loves his booze so I just join in, it's so difficult to just be drinking water and that mofo gets to drink corona. I feel like crying lol.
