How do I update the ticker?? When I add to the current cumulative value, nothing changes.

Hi! This is my first running challenge and first time using a ticker. Idk if I am doing this right. My goal is 2 miles every day. That's seems maintainable, I think.

I chopped up two thick slices of bacon and sauted it in a pan. When it was almost done I added sliced onions/salt/pepper/ red pepper flakes, cooked it till it softened a bit, added a clove of garlic and 1/2 a small head of cabbage sliced.
