Okay let's start today! I'll check in later tonight but feel free to post whenever.

yeah it's pretty tough... It's not like a craving or anything. It just happens suddenly, usually at night when I finally get home after class and working all day. I just get so overwhelmed and it just happens instantly. I tell myself that I deserve to eat a bit more but it usually turns into a binge

I'm training for a marathon. I won't be running much longer at this weight :(
-
I have a 15-17 mile run planned for tomorrow. Hopefully eating today goes better so I won't feel as gross. It's so hard to stay on track after longer runs...
-
Yeah I try to do that but it doesn't usually work. Once I start to binge it's out of control.
-
Too late now...I just feel bad throwing it out and there isn't a food pantry in the immediate area. And I'm a poor college student who could use the food but like...I just eat it all at once.
-
I fought hard all day and then caved around 6pm....my parents mailed me a box of food and stuff and I ate a whole bag of cashews and a box of protein bars. I knew it would happen. I should have just thrown the stuff away but whatever. I know better for next time now.

I literally binge on anything other than plain oatmeal and whey protein powder. Anything in my room I will eat once I'm in that mode. Stuff that tends to set off a binge is nut butter, trail mix/nuts, any type of processed crackers/cookies/etc, and any kind of cereal. Anything in a large, multiple serving container sets…

Good morning! Yeah I'm up already :) yesterday was a really good day for me too!

Yes

Yeah I eat pretty well for a college kid. I always eat a banana pre workout then a second banana and a protein shake after my workout for breakfast.

Idk probably a combination of stress, anxiety, exhaustion, just that it's such a strong habit, and not having actual hunger cues anymore. I really have no idea of what I should be eating and don't want to eat what my maintence calories are because that isn't my goal.

Yesterday was really really bad for me. I grabbed a small handful of M&Ms on my way out of the dining hall. I was hoping if I gave myself an adequate portion of somethings I really wanted, it would prevent me from binging but it didn't. I binged really badly last night and woke up feeling pretty gross but hopefully I can…

I did really really poorly yesterday, I hope I can't get back on track today, I have never been so disgusting with my body. It's so embarrassing that I'm actually going to try to run a marathon like this.

^^agree with the accountability thing! I think that would be super helpful!

I've had a lot of different injuries but the ones that affected me most were stress fractures/stress reactions, because at that point you can't run and shouldn't exercise. I'm getting back to running now and have made a lot of progress in increasing my activity but I can't get my eating under control. I run and stationary…

All of the above! Also maybe a daily check in type of thing?

Wow this is a great thread! I've been having a really hard time sticking to my goals and struggle with binge eating especially at night. Hopefully this will help keep me on track.
