Well I failed and had too many cals, going to change this fasting day to Wednesday! Thanks for the tips, I'll be ready when Wednesday comes!!!

I think I'm going to weigh weekly on a Friday morning and cry if I don't lose weight lol nah I won't really but I may be a tad disappointed. The thing is this is my first week and I know I've made bad choices on my non fasting days and my exercise has been nil but at least it means I can only get better! I need a good kick…

Hi everyone, my first time posting on a weekly thread. It's my first fasting day today and I'm struggling.....I really want to eat kebab meat lol! And that's not good even on a non fasting day! I think I need to drink more so I'm sat here with a nice cup of tea :) Sounds like you're all doing really well, well done :)

Hi I'm looking for a mentor who does or has done the 5:2 diet to help me stick to it and help me lose the weight I desperately need to lose

I think it depends on your starting weight, I'm 342 pounds so I expect I'll lose a stone quicker than someone who is already a much lower weight

I saw myself in a reflection in a window and was horrified! I knew I was overweight but hadn't realised just how much, I'm 342 pounds and have now realised I desperately need to do something about it.

Hi I'm new to 5:2 and plan on doing my days back to back, I guess that isn't really possible on 4:3 is it? Also good luck you sound very determined :)

Treating yourself on fast days makes sense, and yes if I find back to back too hard I'll definitely try splitting them up

Wow that's really low cals well done, I was thinking of stir fry too. I can have a lot of it for little calories

I think back to back would suit me better as I know once they are done that's it for a bit, nice to hear what everyone does. What do people tend to eat on the fasting days?
