I struggle with the weekends too! At some point I may try moving my weigh in day to Mondays to see if that helps keep me motivated through the weekend.

@Gidgitgoescrazy Let’s go, we can do this!! I say “we” because I turn 50 in two months and would like to be down another 11 by then. My original goal was to be down “50 by 50” but I’m down 47 already .... the extra 11 will get me in to the 220s for the first time in a couple decades.

Especially as the temperatures have started reaching the 90s it sure has been nice to leave my mask in my pocket the last few days! I’m glad we are getting back to normal!

PW: 240.5 CW: 242.4 My weight can swing wildly and violently, I was up 6 at one point this week. I think keto can help get me where I want to be but I feel like I’ll need to find something different once I get to maintenance. Still down 45 overall.

@micki48 Are you taking the free class at a Club Pilates? That’s where my wife and I take our classes and we love it! There are hundreds of Club Pilates across the US and they’ve started opening in Canada too.

Not a good keto weekend .... had pizza last night and then a potato and some cookie cake tonight. It was weird that none of them tasted as good as I remembered them tasting. Back to the grind tomorrow!

We bought a boat last week and took delivery today just in time for Mother’s Day. Definitely looking forward to staying active on the water! Also more motivation to get in better shape and stay there!

I’m pushing through feeling too tired to exercise. I was too tired to go to my Pilates class, went anyway, and felt much better after going.

NSV - I was able to cut my blood pressure medicine again! I have now eliminated my stomach pill and a blood pressure pill and have one blood pressure pill to go! (I’ve dropped from 287 lbs to 242 lbs)

After four great months on plan the wheels came off the bus today! I’m not sure why. I’ve stayed keto but there’s a good chance I’ll triple my normal calorie allowance. I should probably go to bed right now so I stop eating!!

I weigh every morning and usually take a sneak peak at bedtime to see how I did during the day. The fluctuations are maddening! During May I’d like to cut back to once per week.

My healthy intention this weekend is to do some “bridge work” both days. We’re walking back and forth across our local bridge to help us get ready for our hikes in Alaska this summer. In Florida the bridges are the closest things we have to mountains!

PW 247.9 CW 243.5 This put me at over 40 pounds lost from my 287.2 high in 2020. I wish I could take all of the credit but it was dental surgery on Monday that had me eating less this week. I’m feeling better and will head back to my Pilates class today after missing all week.
