I recommend reading the community forums and gathering intel. From there make the best decisions you can for your goals. You can do it! Also, start strength training because you want to be fit when you reach your goal not what they call "skinny fat".

Could be you are building muscle while you are losing fat. I struggle with keeping my spirits up sometimes because others in the community are dropping more pounds but I see my shape changing and ultimately that is what I want- to feel strong, healthy and shapely!

I am the opposite I love the message of weight loss in 5 weeks. It is one of my main motivating factors. I daydream of a thinner month next month and I plug away at learning to eat healthy and make better choices.

Strength based goals I want nice shaped muscles but not too defined.

I do not plan on sticking with the 10 lb dumbells long it is a starting point for me considering my strength level. They are heavy enough to exhaust my muscles. I am definitely going to check into the YAYOG thing as it seems logical to me and a good fit for my lifestyle. Lots of good webpages in here as well guys. Thanks…

I eat this all the time 1/4 cup almond flour, 1 egg, 1 mashed banana a dash of vanilla and cinnamon. My approach is to stay away from bread, pasta, things made with white flour and sugar. Though I have no specific "carb quantity" to stay under.
