  • I think it does matter, they probably have a ton of people who actually use their products wanting to compete in Maui, and why would they pick you for an ambassador if you don't even use them?

  • As other people have suggested, I would start with body weight exercises, and then get some dumbbells or kettlebells to increase the weight when you are ready.
  • I am sure whatever you need to lose weight for is not worth sacrificing your health in the end. Do your best, and I am sure you will look great for whatever you have coming up.
  • Have you ever tried HIIT exercises? Sounds like something that may help you reach your goals faster.
  • Not everyone enjoys going to the gym, lifting weights, or traditional exercises in general. Some people just aren't into it, and when they are challenged it can be even more loathsome for them because they just don't like to do it. That being said, we all know we need to do it, so I recommend finding some activity you like…
  • Do you have someone you can have be your workout buddy? Then on those days you are not motivated they can help push you, and you can try new things together as far as workouts.
  • I would suggest meal prepping ahead of time just to make sure that you are getting enough protein throughout the week. I know for me that is the only way I can be sure I am eating what I set out to for the day!
  • Well just being on here, and reaching out for advice is the first step! Do you belong to a gym, or have any idea what kind of exercise you want to do? Also, what is your diet like now?
  • You go! I love when people stick up for what they feel works for them on here, even if other people don't agree. A lot of my friends who compete use Liporidex, as well as other supplements, and I don't think they would just throw their money away if they were ineffective. Competing isn't cheap lol!
  • Perhaps. However, I've tried to lose weight many times before, and have been unable to keep it off. I think a big part of it is that I'm exercising regularly now. Fitness has become a part of my lifestyle now. I'm grateful to have many friends to exercise with. We motivate and inspire each other daily. Again, you…
  • I have the same problem - I think that we all do. You should check out Liporidex PM on amazon. I love all of their stuff. But this is my favorite bc its got no stimulants in and no melatonin either. I'm able to not think about food and get a great night sleep. Thanks me later :)
  • Don't bother looking at the scale - too variable and its mostly just water weight. In my case, I lost my first real 5 pounds after 3 weeks. (pounds that did not come back). I think a combination of photographs, measurements and weigh-ins are the best way to track your progress. Keep at it, once the weight starts coming off…
  • pretty much what he said. You can try Vitamin E, but if you have a lot of loose skin - BRAVO for you, you did it and kept it off. One of my co-workers lost 100 pounds over 11 months (no surgery). She wound up having a dermolipectomy a couple years later. She was our OR coordinator so she basically had free surgery, but it…
  • My brother ruptured his achilles last year. Hi orthopod blamed it on on his creatine use. He later got diagnosed with CKD as well, guess what - they blamed it on creatine use as well! I've gotten hooked on working out in the last year. It started with losing 25 pounds with the help of Liporidex MAX which I learned about…
  • What helped me was getting diagnosed with chronic disease. Now, I don't really think that my poor diet in the past really really contributed to early renal failure (I'm not hyper tensive), but I do wonder. That just sucked getting that news. The kicker was that my doctor said that if i wanted to not wind up on dialysis, i…
  • @Ryan, So I saw that you're liking the Liporidex PRE as well. I've been using their MAX as a fat burner as my pre workout, but saw the powder version and was pretty intrigued. How do you compare the two? I see the powder one costs more, is it worth it? thx
  • I think that if you are eating 1000 a day and working out then something must be adding up wrong. 1000 cals is very little so maybe you are not eating enough or not eating enough at the right foods.
  • It really depends on who you talk to, but to me that is certainly heavy lifting. You don't need to be a bodybuilder to be lifting heavy, Keep it up!
  • moderation is key, but definitely stick to something like Mic Ultra, or I think Miller has a 67 cal or something like that.

  • It's true, the best way for me to measure when I am just starting out is measurements and taking weekly progress pictures. You can really see the difference that way.
  • I do get mine on Amazon, free shipping if you have prime and sometimes they do special deals there. Let me know how it goes. I am down another 3 pounds! Summer here I come!
  • agreed!
  • wow I wouldn't have tried protein that was 20 years old, that is a bold move! lol But yet I have recently tried Quest and I am very happy. Best protein I have ever tried.
  • Hey Healthnut050, I use their Max product and it has truly helped me. I used to hit up a fast food drive thru almost every night after work even though I knew I was going home to cook dinner. It was just a bad habit that took over my life. And since taking this I no longer do that, actually I can't even remember the last…
  • Thanks, I think I am going to try Quest, looked good and the price was right. thank you for the advice @psulemon I do lack protein in my diet, so it would be nice to have that after a workout or as a meal replacement.
  • I prefer to take my morning supps then workout on an empty stomach. My friend competes and she is all about her fasted cardio sessions. If you can do it, then I would recommend it.
  • Don't get discouraged. What I do now is only weight myself once a week and I take my measurements. Sometimes your measurements will show your real results and the scale may not budge.
  • Mints work well for me, and sometimes a LITTLE piece of dark chocolate. Lately I have been good though and haven't been having any cravings. Probably because of my fat burner, but hey it helps me stay focused on nice clean eating. Every once in a while I will crave something sweet, but not as bad as it used to be.

  • 5/3 and would like to be 125. But really I am not too concerned with the number rather than how my body actually looks. So if I look good at 130 I will be happy. I still have 15 to lose!
